Maybe Adkins told Jewell to fooke off there and then which Reed followed up on later? Maybe Adkins couldnt stop laughing long enough to tell Jewell to fooke off at the time? Maybe Adkins played Jewell along a bit (in a cheeky Scouser kind of way - they used to go to school together) and when he returned from holiday (some 5 days or so later) told Reed to put Jewell out of his misery? There are many possible scenarios which would not mean Adkins is Reeds lap-dog. No story here, move along please!!

Maybe it is a wind-up, but his previous posting history does not indicate that it might be. A bit odd to ask for opinions? I always thought "The Lounge" was for sensible and reasonable discussions. Many of the replies above are more suited to The Muppet Show. In reply to the OP: if the girl really means a lot to you there is no reason why you couldnt have a meaningful relationship. There are, of course, long term issues to take into consideration (such as how long you would have together, not being able to have kids, etc) although, to be honest, not many people think about such things when becoming involved with someone usually.... Well done for at least being open minded about it and good luck for the future!!

So the fiver off managed to attract around an extra 3000 bums on seats. At £20 eac (the reduced ticket price) this makes £60k. However, as they have to offer those who had already bought their tickets £5 off of another this could cost them 11500x5 = £57500. So a profit of £2.5k Still, in their position I guess every little helps (and only another £15.5k to find in order to get their OS working again!)
