yeah that's what i mean we dont even hold that out right and we'll probably scramble 11 points to share that one too. Although if anyone can set two records in one season it's Russ.
-
would be good to add lowest ever points tally to our record defeat title. Knowing Saints we'll scramble to 11 points somehow and even fuck that up

VAR is really brilliant isn't it. The tension it's added to the Liverpool v Chelsea game is wonderful. Also the celebration when the goal was awarded at Molyneux was incredible. Anyone who doesn't like VAR isn't a true TV subscription paying soccerball fan.

Disagree. Bringing on Sullemana was a masterstroke. He hasn't scored or assisted i think for nearly 18 months, that has to change some time so Martin must have thought today was that day and why wouldn't you? If he doesn't play his bad form doesn't end. Martin said he feels better when Smallbone plays so that decision made sense. Bringing on Frazer was an attacking move, he would have forced Fatawu back and given him something to think about defensively whereas Taylor might be a full back with many years top flight experience but he is a defender so would have put us on the back foot All 3 substitutions made perfect sense the fact they didn't work is on the players.
-
As i said above Martin reacted by bringing on Frazer 3 minutes later. You could clearly see that putting on a smaller, slower winger at wing back to match up against their winger, push him back and therefore make him less effective was a genius tactic that barring getting skinned for the goal and sent off would have resulted in us seeing out the win if the player hadn't messed up
-
He countered the Fatawu substitution on 59 minutes by bringing on winger Ryan Fraser on 62 minutes. The tactic was really brilliant the fact it didn't work is down to the players not doing their jobs yet again.

4th minute of injury time winner for City, pitch side review upheld the original decision, dont remember seeing that before. Wolves defended very well and will feel unlucky to lose this.
-
after last season success Ramus will be loving the fact he's failed this season as this will mean he's more likely to be a success in the future.
-
nothing wrong with the tactics, they were perfect it was the players not doing their jobs again.

i dont understand what's going on. We were assured once we had a a Kop end with away fans in the corner we would be invincible at home. 🤷♀️

Because they want us to be Man City lite. Signing their academy players, the multi club set up the philosophy and identity bollocks. That’s what they want but the flaw in their plan is that Man City can do it because they’ve got the best manager in the world, the best players in the world, more money than god and can pretty much make their own rules as the premier league is scared that anything goes against them they’ll along with the other big clubs clear off into a European league and the premier league brand is gone
-
Yep and Leicester had obviously watched that and worked it out, simple pulled back corner two players unmarked goal.
-
The inevitable last minute of injury time goal against
-
The advantage of 10 men for 20 mins and still not winning 🤦🤦🤦
-
Why do we have to call them anything? Isn’t it up to them how they identify?
-
That’s okay though bro as millions of people will be sitting in their arm chairs enjoying the soccerball match on their TVs. Only idiots go Games these days
-
A very apt analogy whitey as the great Ralph Kruger said we are a club built on faith from the beginning! im sure as a religious country there will be quite a few Bible Belt fans who resonate with us particularly as the Saints, it’s not just a name It’s who we are! let’s try with all our might to stay on the wonderful English premier soccerball league
-
Hopefully they get a goal decision delayed by VAR to increase the tension!!
-
Yep that’s exactly what it is. The 30/30 challenges are brilliant but so simple.

That’s where we teach, every thing is done with both feet. Hundreds if not thousands of touches per session inside, outside, lace, sole and both feet. People take the piss out or repetition and keep ups they moan it’s boring but it’s like anything with muscle memory, if you can do 100 keep ups with your weaker and stronger foot you’ll have a first touch better than 95% of the people in the world

Yes it’s true statistically if you’re born September-November you’ve got a far higher chance of making it in professional sport than late birth rates. Crazy really when you think kids born in August get overlooked because they were born a week too early. And they do I’ve seen it
-
That's actually a very good idea and has been muted on various coaching groups im a member of. At the moment kids can play a year up but not a year down. That's fine for bigger kids but we've got one kid in our team who was born on the 28th of August so is regularly playing kids almost a year older which is a huge difference when you're 10 and 11 in so many nows. Now at U12s some of them look 4-5 years older. My lad is very good technically and was way ahead of most at U9s and 10 now he's now 11 will be 12 in April and the second smallest the team he is the weight of an average 9 year old and the height of a short 10 year old, so he's going up against kids regularly who are much, much bigger stronger and quicker now. The difference a year between U11s and U12s makes is startling. It'll probably do him good long term when he grows being used to playing bigger kids but frustrating for him now. Strangely for me i was the total opposite, i was the biggest kid in the school at 11 and 12 looked 16 so was one of the stars of the team, but by the time we got to 14-15 everything had changed and being able to stroll through games without trying and still be the best player was a massive shock
