  1. Then you’ll have these little shits sniffing round them, god knows what I’d be like if I had a daughters I’m bad enough with a boy 🤣
  2. Just revisiting this I’m sure there are a few other coaches of kids teams here and it’s quite sad to see that despite all the coaching and protocols out there now in grassroots football teams are still dominated by the big physical kids. It’s really noticeable now at u12s and u13s that a lot of the smaller more skillful kids are struggling to adapt to bigger pitches and 11 a side whilst the kids who have already hit puberty and are in some cases a foot taller and 10-15 kilos heavier despite not having the technical ability so stronger and quicker are now dominating matches. Inevitable I guess as for many clubs there is still the win at all costs ethos. We played a team Sunday which ended in a 3-3 draw, we take a squad of 11 every week and make sure everyone gets 45 minutes the other team full of big strong kids with 4 subs they didn’t make a sub until 48 mins and two kids only got 3 minutes. They looked decent to me too but surprise surprise they were the smallest kids. how are they meant to develop when they’re getting 3 minutes game time because the coach is focusing on winning rather than developing the kids. Kids like this will lose a year or two maybe quit all together despite having ability, who is going to want to stand on the touch line for 50 minutes every week only coming on for a token few minutes or when they’re already 3 or 4 nil up?
  3. No thought to the fans? There are millions of TV fans round the world who are going to love a 7pm Sunday. Stop thinking of yourself Suzy.
  4. Hey this is truly great news! Our home tie v Tottenham Spurs moved to 7pm sunday in the English Soccerball league is a fantastic way to increase our worldwide exposure thus growing our US fanbase. The game will be screened live to the US of A whilst those on the east side will be able drink buds whilst tucking into their 45 oz burger and fries meanwhile on the west coast the Premier league soccerball fans can watch along whilst tucking into their maple syrup pancakes at brunch. They can watch us take on the mighty Spurs and hopefully make it an interesting tie in match week 12! Maybe we can score a goal or two and show the Tottenham spurs we will not just except our defeat lying down!! Come on the Southampton Saints!!!!
  5. He's absolute cock. I remember he described himself as the cooking womens crumpet a while back. Who says stuff like that?? He seems to have made a career out of speaking slowly and loudly. What about the strictly stuff that they're trying to pass off as an joke, blatantly the perv has gone in for a feel and she's stopped him now they're trying to make out it was all a bit of fun. If it was a joke it weren't a funny one.
  6. Yep it's a common mistake people make. Do some exercise and think they've earnt a treat. Calories burnt not really accurate and you do hear people saying all the time they've burnt xxxx amount of calories today. Then that all depends on your body compositions, a 100kg bloke will burn a lot more calories doing an half an hour of running than a 60kg woman but you're still only talking 250-400 in half an hour, which is then whipped out by having a beer and a packet of crisps. I've learnt from doing a lot of research and making a lot of mistakes that most diets are bollocks they will work short term but not sustainable and not enjoyable. Keto is great short term but imagine doing it for the rest of your life and never being able to have a sandwich again or a bowl of pasta. the best way to do it is eat healthy 90% of the time, you can have a treat a few times a week but not everyday. Health means ignoring "health foods" and sticking to meat, fish and veg. keep your protein high as that fills you for longer, and train for progress & performance not weight loss. That's the difference between training and exercise for me, follow a plan, track your progress and try to improve each month, dont just go there and spend 30 mins on the exercise bike so you've burnt 300 calories like loads of people do. If every month you're getting fitter and stronger (which is why i track everything) whilst eating well most of the time then the rest will fall into place.
  7. Mrs Browns boys. It seems like “clumsy language” is spreading https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/1961919/mrs-browns-boys-brendan-ocarroll-apology-bbc
  8. Never seen a better right back since alfonso Davies
  9. What a player he is one of the greatest player who ever lived.
  10. I’ve had it a couple of times but not for 4 or 5 years now but then I’ve improved my diet and cut down massively on booze so can’t be a coincidence. My bro in law gets it all the time despite being on medication for it. Beer is meant to be one of the worst things to set it off
  11. Do many of you lot get gout? This thread is gout in a bottle
  12. He's been a relative success at Middlesbrough, remember Rasmus likes managers who have failed.
  13. back in two weeks, yes?
  14. Just remember failure somewhere else - it's a good thing. #thegoldmineeffect #crackingthecodeofhighperformance #ifitaintbrokenbreakit
  15. He is over rated beyond belief and i dont really understand why. He was utter shite in midfield during the Euros. He's a decent but not great right back but frequently gets exposed defensively against decent teams. He's got quality on the ball but they are frothing at the gash about him every time he does anything with it. He is a rich mans Jack Stephens, some people seem to think he has to play somewhere but no one can tell you where that should be or what he actually brings to that role.
  16. lol. Southgate is too defensive, Southgate needs to play our attacking players and fit them all into a system. Kane is past it and slows us down Carsley picks all the attacking players and no Kane. You can say what you like about Southgate but at least he picked a balanced side 🤣
  17. Great to see we are unveiling a statue of Paddington bear in the city. As one of the worlds most famous immigrants Paddington is a shining example of how welcoming the UK is to immigrants and that if you settle well you can not only fully integrate into British society but positively thrive here. 18. Obviously signed just to be cover but clearly a player of quality who was miles better than Stephens and Yoshida at the time.
  19. “One of the greatest nights for Greek football” they’ve won the euros 20 years ago - the shit spouted by the pundits are beyond idiotic
  20. The defending for the second goal was the sort of stuff you see U11s do in the local park absolutely hilariously shit. Greece could have had 6 or 7
  21. Remember our league one days when some people claimed we were better than England? 🤣🤣🤣
  22. Lost 9-1 on aggregate last season to Leicester. Who seriously thinks we’re gonna win?
  23. Best goal scored by a Saint Martin
  24. Great to see you're still absolutely honestly not obsessed with the COT "mickey" 🤣
