Looking at history it's delusional to expect a club of saints size to challenge for the title the way football is these days. Should it ever happen I will accept all the mocking and abuse that will come my way. Regards Realistic of hampshire

I'm sure you also posted towards the end of March that we werent going to catch them and we shouldn't play Lallana and Chamberlain again this season and try to get them fit for the play offs. Anyway, I wobbled abut after Wallsall away, thought we'd bottle it. Mine is this season though, in L1 I expected us to win it and win it at a canter, we didn't and although we finished brilliantly it 2nd was the worst I expected, we were the biggest club in the division by a distance and should have gone up. this season has been a complete surprise not just position we finished but the football we have played and how Lambert, Schniderlin, Lallana, Davis and Richardson have stepped up a level so comfortably and blended so well with the new signings. Although we missed out on the title we all said at the start of the season playoffs would be a fantastic achievement. 2nd was far better than any of us could have hoped for this time last season.

No need to apologise. But I think you should know JCLs, like yourselves, money is worth less than that of real fans. That why you have to pay more. Can I also suggest you upgrade to full membership, get an avatar with a picture of your favourite player or method of support and increase your post count to at least 5,000 before the season starts if you want to be taken seriously around here.
