No need to apologise. But I think you should know JCLs, like yourselves, money is worth less than that of real fans. That why you have to pay more. Can I also suggest you upgrade to full membership, get an avatar with a picture of your favourite player or method of support and increase your post count to at least 5,000 before the season starts if you want to be taken seriously around here.

A clue about what Cortese is telling transfer targets this summer...
Turkish replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
It could have been a positive thread. A talented young player saying how much he wants to join us and how everything is perfect for him to come here. Unfortunately you chose, deliberately I am sure, to spin it about Cortese telling players we are going for the champions league and how this one brief comment suits your 'we're going to a massive club' crusade. Don't play the victim, you could have said how positive his comments were about SFC and how great it was to hear, which it is. You didn't, you chose to concentrate on what Cortese might have said, which was utterly pointless. Unfortunately a lot of the helmets on here can't see through that. -
Fantastic. It's the seating plan v2012! I used to heart the old S4E seating plans and glad they have returned!

I wonder if he showed him the season ticket packaging and let him have a go on the bar code scanners? -
Personally there are few things that annoy me more than seeing fat little children munching on a Macdonalds or KFC. Their parents must be think, blind and stupid if they take their already overweight child to these places.

So negative. Can you not see that one comment at the end of a brief interview which has been loosely translated from another language is absolutely concrete factual evidence that Cortese is telling new signings we will be competing for the title and we should beleive him, after all, what other player that joins any club likes what he is told from the chairman? -
Indeed, you are correct, no one knows or has the crystal ball to say where we will be in the future. All we can do is look to past evidence which suggess its highly unlikely and the only club that have done it with any consistency are Man City who have spent £100s of millions. It's a lovely dream that we can do the same with a team full of players that have come though the academy or are here for the sheer honour of playing for Southampton whilst ignoring greater riches elsewhere, but reality is somewhat different, sadly.

Decent parking at Heathrow airport T5 - Any suggestions?
Turkish replied to Spudders's topic in The Lounge
Find a local hotel, stay the night before and leave your car there. We do this when we fly from Gatwick as its cheaper to do this than park at the airport. Last time we saved about £40 by doing that and booking fortnights parking. Most hotels do. Free bus to the airport as well. -
Should that day arrive I will happily take what comes my way.

There is a girl at work who is very fat. She claims it's because she suffers from chronic asthma and needs to take steroids. However she drinks can after can of red bull a day and her draws are full of multi pack crisps and bars of chocolate. She is also incredibly lazy, not just if work but in life in general. For example, she'll drive to the shops at lunch, the shops are a 2 minute walk away. She also smells of stale yoghurt so I'm sure fatness, laziness and poor hygiene go hand in hand. She is sadly by no means alone. One of the things that wants me to slash peoples eyes out are people that are proud of being fat. Women that delude themselves into believing big Is beautiful. Okay some odd balls might like fatties but 99% of people find them grotesque. Likewise fat c*nts that are proud they do no excercise and rub their belly whilst announcing that it is "all bought and paid for" like their vile appearance is some sort of badge of honour. Anyone can put on a bit of weight, but seriously, do people not have mirrors? Do they not start thinking when their clothes are getting tight that it might be time to swerve the chips and coke for a couple of weeks?

Not forgetting there are probably thousands of Rangers fans who will now be looking for a premier league team to support and probably won't want go be glory hunters, with Glasgow only an hour away from Southampton by air then I'm sure we'll see plenty of them heading south every saturday this season.
-
Especially when you'll be able to walk into the shop in a weeks time and get one without queuing at all. Also why are some people queuing for the new shirt wearing last seasons shirts. Why do people feel the need to put their saints shirt on to queue for the new one? I had to LOL at the pictures of that.

Isn't some of Wales in our catchment area? All of it is below that imaginary line from Liverpool, Birmigham and London. South of Britain Saints would be better. IMO.
-
Tsk, such a Dell sized mentality. our catchment area covers everything below the M40, M6 and M25. South and South West Midlands Saints is far more in fitting with our catchment.
-
They'll be doing that even if they survive. There are literally thousands of them planning on doing this next season, much like there were the same amounts of Saints fans at Fratton Park between 2005-09.

Is it just me, or did the way Spain play remind you of anyone...?
Turkish replied to sidthesquid's topic in The Saints
I didn't see too many long balls into the back post to the big striker during to tournement so it's a no from me. -

Really? I was expecting us to challenging Man City this season. So how long do you think it will take for us to challenge Man City?
