So let's take our top attendance in the last 10 years in th championship of 26k and Sunderlands in the same league over the same period of 31k. Sunderland highest is 17% higher than ours. Sunderlands average attendance this season in the premier league is 38k. Using the same ratio that our attendance will be 17% less than theirs our average will be 31,540 in the premier league. No need to expand. No look at Sunderland and what they are doing. No need to expand. Their attendances and our attendances follow the same pattern. No need to expand. No need to expand. Thanks for proving my point. No need to expand.

No. Why would I? If I started coming out with that sort of sh*t people would think I was a c*nt. it works for Nige, trying to be like Nige is the behaviour of a helmet.

Brian McDermott seems to be having problems turning him into this world beater some of our fans think he is, despite being able to turn an average Reading team into a promotion winning one. 2 years after Apparantly setting the world alight for us in league one, where is this 20 year old starlett? Oh, back in league one. Coincidence or not? -
Build it and they will come. Look at Sunderland in 1995. Supply and demand. Let's reduce ticket prices. Let's do kids for a quid. It'll be cheaper to expand now than when Lowe was here. We got 31k for a home game with Bolton once so we need to expand. We can give more tickets to away fans. Something about Reading mentioning once they are doing something sometime maybe, possibly in the future. The collective logic of our Internet geniuses. And people wonder why it's referred to as an Internet mong board.

UNbelivable that any club would sign him with his injury record and pay demands, isn't he meant to be on £60k a week at QPR? He's hardly played in about 8 seasons. -

I agree, Maynard has looked a top player at times for West Ham, he definitely went to the wrong club. Still West Ham will be flogging him off cheap when they dont go up. -
regardless of any of this though we need to take everything MLG says with a huge pinch of salt. lest we forget it was him that claimed we should pay players what they want and were the most attractive team for a player to join outside of the top four in the premier league. When we were in league one.

Antonio. Hero worshipped by some on here but no where near good enough for us this season or in the premier league. -
In a thread that will go on and on and on until the new kit comes out in July, which will be stripes.

F*ck me, we must be the only club in the country where fans dont even try to get tickets depsite being desperate to go. Tottenham have a waiting list of 13k for season tickets, Newcastle had one similar when they were in the top 4. Arsenal had a waiting list with tens of thousands of members on it and ballot systems for tickets which meant they knew they could fill a 60k stadium. Not us though, our fans just dont bother trying if they dont think they can get them.

The Dell was clearly too small, we sold out every game, we needed to move or sooner or later to be competitive. I keep hearing that this is the best football we have played in years and what a great time it is to be a Saints fan, yet our averaqe is around 3/4s of capacity when we are top two and heading for our first promotion to the premier league since 1978. On this basis i dont understand why people think we are going to get 20,000 extra fans for a midtable clash with Fulham.
