Having checked on wiki and google it seems the 22nd of September is traditionally the popular date in the calendar for surprise great aunties birthday parties so that might explain it.

How screwed is Danny Fox? Discuss.
-
Some good ones there. First half pretty even but we murdered them second half and once we equalised there was only going to be one winner.
-
Exactly this. I said to the guys I go with what are they on about as no one round us had any idea why they started applauding then giving it the no respect stuff. It was only after the game someone said it was for Petrov.

How many will Lambert score this season................
Turkish replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Well he's got a few already, (assists)Schinderlins header v Man U, was it his pass to Puncheon? Also a great ball through to Mayuka to win the penalty. -
How do you work that out?
-
He won't have played for months so will need a few weeks training to get himself in shape I'd imagine. I'm sure he'll be our first choice come end of October though.

He can't play up front on his own FFS. -
I think it you that needs to calm down princess. Im not the one being precious over the use of one word when someone is making a perfectly valid point.
-
He's a top man and been a good servant to the club. Sadly time runs out for everyone and there is no room for sentiment in football. Baring injuries I don't think he'll play again for us, it that's progress and he even said himself at the start of the season he'll do his best and if it's not enough so be it.
-
Yep I agree. Top internataional players in their day and They'd certainly be an improvement on Fox!
-
And that was when we were crap and had no investment!
-
So because the OP used on word you don't like whilst asking a perfectly valid question you've got all uppity about it. Whatever words were used the answer is still the same isn't it? 2nd choice at best. As for immature and senseless, assuming fans won't support a player anymore is a similar reaction, pot and black sunshine.
-
Yep. Two clubs with managers 5 games into their long term squad rebuilding plans will definitely be looking to use the anti Saints agenda the media have to drive Nigel away.
-
Yep,about the middle. But if people want to watch £12m players then they should be prepared to pay for it, no?
-
Between hem they've played for Juventus, Barcelona, Inter and Millan so could probably handle the pressure that comes with paying for a club like Southampton.
-
Who is Italian full back available on a free, Rossi?? I think we can only add one more anyway.
-
How the hell do you come to that conclusion. Wierd. So where we you out Davis now, given he was dropped today and we've just signed a very, very highly rated, experienced international goalkeeper? 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice?
-
/\ good to see the dynamic pricing that was lauded as the future of ticket sales on here is working well.
-
But but but but, Chelsea only used to get 13,000 in 1984 and look at them now.
-
Nonsense. We were told 'there will be a real scramble for tickets this season' I'm not sure what factors prevented people from going this week as everything seemed perfect. Weather wasnt too hot or cold, it wasnt school holidays or a bank holiday weekehere decent opposition, here were no road works, it wasnt on The telly, its our only home game in 4 weeks so people wont have to choose between games, christ, even our rcord signing was making his full debut. Perhaps some that didn't bother going can explain why they didn't, I'm confused as to why the mad scramble for tickets we were promised is failing to materialise.
-
Why is it disrespectful? kelvin was dropped and we've now signed another highly rated keeper. It looks to me and everyone I go with that he is now third choice. Just because you don't like it it doesn't mean it isn't true.

/\ 'likes a drink' Early favourite for the Saintsweb understatement of the year award.

And now average 1 in 12,000. Police on the BBC this morning slapping themselves on the back with their new tactic of being nice to fans. Wow, what a revelation and a nice bit of PR in the wake of the Hillsborough findings. Although its not quite true as I'm sure many who have been arrested in recent seasons can testify to. With shall we say, some questionable evidence used to convict and gain banning orders and they certainly weren't nice to some people at Arsenal on Saturday, one in particular who had done absolutely nothing wrong and the copper looked devastated when he realised they were talking to the wrong person. The copper also said they are constantly taking evidence so they can apply for banning orders in the future so be careful everyone as this explains why some people in the last couple of seasons have been nicked for the most trivial of things then presented with a dossier containing damning and sickening evidence of past crimes such as drinking in a pub with your mates and being seen near where an incident was reported to have happened 30 minutes later. The new tactic seems to me to be common sense and hardly cause of backslapping but even so when they ask you how you are,it's not because they care, it's all going down in the notepad, who you were with, what you were doing and where you were doing it.

Tsk chez. How long have you been posting on here? You should know by now that the only good players in some fans eyes are ones tht are quick and run around a lot, regardless of what they do with the ball. The love in with De Ridder and Antonio evidence of this.
