  1. Why do you think Italians are renowned for their style? Do you see any Napoli or Inter fans grizzling on the telly dressed in "comedy" bow ties and wigs? I'm sure the ones that think it's hilarious to dress up are the ones who were first in line for the "comedy" ties and matching socks that were popular with accountants a few years back.
  2. and Stuart Downing, Jordan Henderson and Andy Carroll were all happy where they were, but the lure of a club like Liverpool was too great. I'm sure Lambert will stay though, afterall he's happy here, he told you himself.
  3. Of course he might stay, they did say man would never walk on the moon.
  4. Bloke on take me out, or the grizzling clown at the match on saturday, fat messes in replia shirts. It all creates an opinion of the city and it's residents. When you think of Italians for example, you think of stylish, good looking men and women. When you think of Southampton you think of fat messes in clown costumes.
  5. He's not fat anymore, sadly. Just a spade faced mess.
  6. Its great TV. It makes you realise how superior you are to most people.
  7. Because it reflects badly on the city, my city. Take the fat mess that was on this series of Take Me OUt from Southampton who was in Hawaian shirts and just generally a bit of a disaster of a human being. He wasnt described as "the fat mess" he was "the fat mess from Southampton". I dont want my city and club associated with people like that. And on another note i'm still waiting for people to tell me why dressing up like a hemlet is such a great laugh.
  8. Why does everyone keep going on about dressing like Danny Dyer? This has nothing to do with it. It's about people going in middle aged men going fancy dress as clowns and so on and how this is remotely the great laugh people keep claiming it is.
  9. Please explain.
  10. Im going to be going dressed as Nicola Cortese. Smart designer Italian suit, shirt and tie and built up shoes to honour the great man.
  11. Its called having standards sunshine.
  12. No one is suggesting people are clinging onto anything. Just asking the question why do middle aged blokes feel the need to dress up like a helmet. As of yet no one has given any reason why its this great laugh people keep claiming it is.
  13. Im sure there will be plenty.
  14. The "Barcelona we're coming for you" chant which started briefly was utterly cringeworthy, thank god it didn't catch on.
  15. If we cant beat an already relegated Coventry we dont deserve promotion.
  16. Yep, we had all the happy clappy, "but, but, but He's a Saints fan he wont leave" with Wayne Brige. "but, but, but he'd be better staying with us for another season" With AOC, "but, but, but, he likes it here, Spurs is the poison chalice" with Hoddle. What happened with all of them? Add into the mix the numerous other players who've done the same from other clubs over the years you soon realise it isn't very mature or realisic or sensible or god damned logical to say a player wont leave because they like it here when a bigger club comes calling. Logic says he will. Saying he wont go because he likes it here is not logical or sensible it's happy clappy foam handed waving deluded bullsh*t, but we should expect nothing else on here.
  17. It will reflect our season if we go up tonight. All a bit of an anti climax. Obviously i dont mean by winning promtion but the 4 times this season we've really had the chance to do something spectacular, ie x 2 v the Skates, Reading and 'boro it's been an anti-climax. Therefore we'll probably go up tonight, but it'll not be the joyous outpouring of emotion and celebration we'd have had by doing it ourselves.
  18. If it's alright for Prince Harry.......

  20. I quite agree. We are great when we are dominating teams and knocking the ball around. When we need to dig in and backs to the wall job we are often found wanting. More balls in defence and midfield is exactly what we need.
  21. Irony alert. No it isn't logical at all. The logical answer when a huge club like Liverpool come calling with far more money on offer than they'd ever dreamed of is for the player is to leave. If you think about it sensibly history is littered with more players leaving than there is with of players staying just because they're a great guy and love the fans. Logically if he went to Liverpool he'd have every chance of winning trophies immediately as well as playing for the club he supports. Unless maybe some of you can come with some more logical answers and examples of players who've turned down bigger clubs and logically why he would stay, if it's the logical answer there must be thousands of them. I await your sensible and logical answers.
