  1. Indeed. And if Rodriquez goes onto fullfill his potential will proably do the same with him.
  2. So you weren't pleased when we got what was reported for the Chamberlain deal. As it's well above what he is worth then?
  3. Those that say "i would take xxxx for him" Well it aint up to them is it!!!
  4. A lot of you are moaning about the price and saying he is not worth it, yet were delighted that we got £12m for a player with a half a league one season under his belt. Jay is a England U21, proven goalscorer at championship level and touted as a future ENgland player. Dont you think it's hypocritical to say he's not worth it and critise Burnley for doing what you were congratulating Nicky for doing only last week?
  5. I agree with you there. He looks a very good young player and with Covs financial problems we should be able to pick him up much cheaper. Rumour was earlier in the summer we've bid £500k. A supplier at work is a STH at Cov loves him and reakons they'd let him go for £750k-£1m.
  6. That was handbags compared to the battle of Newport Pagnell Services when we bumped into the Crystal Palace Travel Club who were en Route to Nottingham Forest back in 08. Some proper tasty older heads on both buses, Palace called it on but our Old boys were more than a match for them and sent them limping back to their buses with their zimmer frame stuck firmly between their legs.
  7. I can tell you now that the supporters coaches are one long LOLathon. I've had some truely MENTAL times in my day on the fun bus. However on the odd ocasion these trips have been ruined by some of the unsavory fractions of our support. I remember one time after winning away at QPR this woman had a full coke bottle, although i am sure by her loud and obnixious behaviour she had probably slipped something stronger into it. She was very loud and irksome along with her feral friends whose unruly behaviour was shaming the name of our great club. Luckily for us an older lady stood up to them and told them to pipe down as their vulgar behaviour was ruining the trip for the rest of us. We obviously thanked her and have not seen these yobs since.
  8. But we are the new Barcelona. everything is possible. Didn't they say man would climb everest once. In cortese we trust.
  9. Cheers. Is this a 1.9TDI? What sort of MPG are you getting out of yours?
  10. I didn't go saturday but what is becoming apprant is we have changed the way we play a fair under Adkins and the team isn't built around RIcky anymore as it was under Pardew. It seems we need someone a bit more mobile up top alongside DC. PS wanna meet for a pint on saturday?
  11. F*cking hell. If this forum had a pound for every ITKer that "has been told" what the case if there'd be no need for the £5 Baj tax.
  12. I didn't say that did i. I just said what Nige said the other day that we had deals progressing that would happen regardless of what happened to AOC.
  13. I am going to this one. Surprised none on sale yet.
  14. You know this or you're guessing this? Adkins did say t'other day that we had deals lined up and they'd happen irrespective of if AOC left or stayed.
  15. It's no surprise really. It's as cringeworthy as the Cortese song.
  16. So has anyone actually heard this themselves then?
  17. I'm going to be getting a new car soon and need something decent as going to be putting 30k or so a year on it. Toyed with the idea of just getting a new or year old a3/a4 or BMW 3 series but decided against it due to the massive depreciation. Saab 93s look well priced in in 3-4 year old age group, pick up a low mileage one for about 3-4k less than an A4 or 3 series but had no experience of them myself. I'll probably keep it for 2 years and put about 60k on it so not expecting it to be worth much at the end, just rather lose 5k than 10k in depreciation. A collegue had one and loved his. Anyone else got any thoughts?
  18. That's right, in the 3 months since the end of last season he had gone from being one of the best centre halves in the championship playing for the team that walked the division to a slow, over the hill carthorse not good enough for a team just promoted from league one.
  19. Okay i know it's 21 years.
  20. Given the choice i expect most people would, but the cost to rent or buy is ridculous and out of a lot of peoples reach.
  21. If we did that, i would be on top of the world.
  22. Good finish from him today. I can't believe he sees his future at Bristol C though. They look poor and got dicked again today.
  23. Why the f*ck would you leave out Connolly? He's been class and scored in both starts!!
  24. I used to live in midanbury. It's nice and s friendly area. The local pub, the Castle, used to be good but went through a stage of being full of young idiots just before we moved and got a quite rough, not sure what it's like now. All in all it's a good area to live though.
