OUr squad is good enough, provided no one leaves, obviously then we will need to look at it. How many teams in this league can bring in a player like Puncheon when a midfielder is injured? As i have already said if we can get in a couple of quality players for this league to improve on what is here, a Charlie Austin for example then brilliant, but i dont think just buying squad players to make up numbers is the answer.

So why on earth would a player who is good enough for the Championship come to a League one side as a "cover" player? Lets not forget, first we dont know how long Lallana is out for and secondly it is only around 6-8 weeks worst case, if totally unfounded rumours are true. His career isn't over he isn't out for a year or more, 6-8 weeks is not a particularly long time, so no decent player of the standard we want will want to come here as a cover player. Some of you lot need to get a dose of reality at the sort of players who will join a league one side to bench warm. Of course if you are talking about buying 20 odd good players to play in a squad rotation system, then that is a different matter all together.

It is a fact that if we sign someone as a replacement, will not be as good as Lallana, this is a guy who was interesting midtable premier sides, FFS, we are not a one man team FFS, we have a solid defence, a strong midfield and strikers capable of sticking the ball in the net, any team in the world would miss their best player, but i am sure NA is capable of finding a way of playing so his absence is minimised. Lallana is head and shoulders the best player in this league and should be playing at a higher level FFS. All our other promotion rivals seem to do alright without a player of his ability, yet we will slide down the table FFS. Of course we'll miss him for however long he is out, who wouldn't, but it doesn't mean our season will implode or we need to spend millions on a replacement. FFS.
