If you really think we don't need to buy...
Turkish replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
If no one leaves we dont have a problem, you say Lambert wont score 30 goals this season, probably not, but last season he scored half our goals, this season Barnard, Gully, AOC and are all weighing in more, even Chaplow has scored 3 (i think) in the time he has been here, i dont think a central midfielder scored many last season. OUr squad is good enough, provided no one leaves, obviously then we will need to look at it. How many teams in this league can bring in a player like Puncheon when a midfielder is injured? As i have already said if we can get in a couple of quality players for this league to improve on what is here, a Charlie Austin for example then brilliant, but i dont think just buying squad players to make up numbers is the answer. -
Unlikely,do the maths, 12.5k tickets sold to STH's, c4.5k for Man U inc segregation, leaves c15k tickets left for everyone else, if they sell that many today i'd be amazed purley due to logistics of it. I am sure there will still be some left on thursday, Pompey didn't sell out for 3 or 4 days and that was a much bigger game.

or once they thought they had trapped you.

Benjii, do you think we should have made more of an effort to get Eddie Howe as our manager? he is probably the best looking one that was available at the time, i am disapointed with Adkins, he looks like geography teacher, if we are to make it to the PL he has to go i am afraid.
-
Expect Burnley to make a bid now Eddie Howe is there, he is on record as saying he wanted to sign him for Bournemouth but couldn't due to the trasfer embargo and he is being backed to make a push for promotion. I can see him going there.
-
Lol Indeed, as ambiguous as you can get.
-
That's a yes then. What pub do you go in before matches?
-
What the f*ck do you know? Dont every post on a thread about sex until you are no longer a virgin, you hear me.
-
It may be about Man Utd but most traditional fans of football can relate to this.
-
have we got the next batch of tickets yet? I am doing this one now.
-
Crazy, depsite most people thinking if we get £10m for him we should take it! Lets face it, it is a load of boll*cks.
-
He has left, he is at Plymouth now.

My mate from work nailed the bird who lives next door to him, apparantly when they were getting down to it she said "you can f*ck me up the arse if you want but you need to do it hard" so he did. I was seeing a bird for a while who liked it, she also loved having fingers stuck up her arse as foreplay. NEver met a bird who does ATM yet though.

thanks. No need to thank me for my suggestion of THompson Al Fresco, seriously and not taking the p*ss its very reasonable and kids love it, my old boss takes the family to one in /near Lazio every year.

F*ck me you are dull. Let me spell it out for you, it really isn't difficult and there is nothing to do with fitting agendas involved. Presumably BHA fans and our own fans that DONT go or haven't see our team, arm themselves with information from the same mediums? Match reports, internet forums, highlights, radio and media streams, looking at the squad list etc, Is that a fair assumption to make? Interesting that 90%, probably more, of Saints fans on the "this squad is strong enough from promotion" thread and also BHA fans think the squad is strong enough, in fact some BHA fans say we have a "huge" squad. Now i have no idea if the Saints fans on the thread mentioned or the BHA fans have seen our side in one game, every game or no games, however the general consesus of fans that do or dont to games is that our squad IS good enough for promotion, only a handful seem to disagree, which is fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion but only one seems to constantly bleat about it on every thread possible and fail to suggest why he thinks it isn't good enough or where it should be improved, just that it is because he says it is, this person then goes onto accuse others of having agendas. There you go sir, in very, very simple terms. Is that plain enough for you? Or are you now going to highlight a part of a sentance and twist it to fit your agenda?

Leciester, Baj could spend time walking the streets for a week trying to spot his idol and role model.

So why on earth would a player who is good enough for the Championship come to a League one side as a "cover" player? Lets not forget, first we dont know how long Lallana is out for and secondly it is only around 6-8 weeks worst case, if totally unfounded rumours are true. His career isn't over he isn't out for a year or more, 6-8 weeks is not a particularly long time, so no decent player of the standard we want will want to come here as a cover player. Some of you lot need to get a dose of reality at the sort of players who will join a league one side to bench warm. Of course if you are talking about buying 20 odd good players to play in a squad rotation system, then that is a different matter all together.
-
No, not really a contradiction at all, more an observation about perception. Do you not think it strange how the wrist slitters on here, no names mentioned, who rarely see our team yet claim to "support" them, see one thing, yet our promtion rivals see the opposite, which tends to subscribe to the majority view on the "this squad is good enough for promtion" thread. No doubt they all "inform" themselves from a lot of the same sources, strange one that.
-
Anyone would think we hadn't scored 19 goals in the five games before yesterday FFS.
-
It is a fact that if we sign someone as a replacement, will not be as good as Lallana, this is a guy who was interesting midtable premier sides, FFS, we are not a one man team FFS, we have a solid defence, a strong midfield and strikers capable of sticking the ball in the net, any team in the world would miss their best player, but i am sure NA is capable of finding a way of playing so his absence is minimised. Talk of a slide down the table is drama queenism, FFS
-
And i've been thinking that B-RAbbit is a bit of a c***.
-
Lallana is head and shoulders the best player in this league and should be playing at a higher level FFS. All our other promotion rivals seem to do alright without a player of his ability, yet we will slide down the table FFS. Of course we'll miss him for however long he is out, who wouldn't, but it doesn't mean our season will implode or we need to spend millions on a replacement. FFS.
-
shussshhhh bessie mate, chillax blud, FFS.
-
What do you mean it all makes sense now? FFS. Still posting in that bender yellow text FFS.
-
Lallana was not responsible for all 19 goals we scored in the 5 games before yesterday, FFS.
