and already everyone panicing and predicting a slide down the table FFS.

We could and should, man for man our players are better than all of those. We wont win them all but we should win at least half of those, our away record so far this season suggest that that is the minimum we should expect.

it's quite obvious isn't it? He doesn't know about Lallanas injury as he is yet to have the injury diagnosed and Ox-C is our player, he doesn't expect anyone to "leave the building" in January but if a down the line the right club came in with the right offer and it was good for his career SFC wont stand in his way, i dont think you can say fairer than that.

I agree i dont want ugly players, we need to good looking players to reflect the image of our club. BTW i saw Nicola Cortese in the Corriander Lounge in town Friday night. He has exceptional taste in curry houses and was also wearing a really nice white shirt and cuff links.

The Sun do a great offer for a week in a caravan at one of their selected parks dotted around the country for £9.50, just collect the vouchers. That'll give you £990.50 to spend on a razor.

I've been to Mango of a lunchtime to take advantage of the decent lunchtime thai curry offer, tends to be quiet then with only occasionally a few irritating student girls giggling and trying to sound intelligent. Cenos isn't a student bar, decent for food and a few beers and go in there a fair bit, but yes apart from those places give Portswood generally a miss due to the nature of the opinionated, self obsessed, arrogant & irritating residents.

It wasn't a penalty, the defender just shouldered Chamberlain off the ball, which is a legal challange, the clueless goons around me all appealed but they were the same ones moaning at our players for keeping the ball rather than humping it long. The ref was poor, gave Lambert nothing, but we only have outselves to blame for not winning, Notts County were not a good side, but they defended well. If Gully sqaured to Chamberlain after 10 mins, chamberlain slots into an empty net for 1-0 totally different game and we probably win 3 or 4. Very poor play from Gully that, shooting from an angle instead of a 10 yards sideways pass for Chamberlain to put it into the open goal.

Because your opinion is ALWAYS negative!! Classic case, after the easy 4-1 against Huddersfield "we all know we will f*ck it up against Exeter and Dagenham, after the first day of the first ashes test, "we will lose 5-0" FFS!!!
-
It's all hearsay, however if it is true that he hit him with a bottle and beat the sh*t out of someone then a "mate" of mine got 4 years for GBH with intent about 8 years ago for doing something not disimilar.

I'm not criticsing you going to see Saints, if l lived abroad i would hardly see them either, in fact when i lived in Yorkshire for 18 months 12 years ago i only made about 6 or 7 games one season. What i find hard to understand is you say you use this forum to inform yourself, fair enough, yet argue the toss with anyone who is willing yet expect everyone to accept your opinion.

You need 20-24 good players, not 35 average ones. Buying "one for the squad" or "cover" players leads to trouble. THis was the transfer policy we had in and leading up to our relegation season, we ended up with a massive squad of players not good enough for the premier league but on premier league wages. Rather than spending £4m and £30k a week on a player to improve the first team we ended up with the likes of McCann, kenton, Van Damme, Nielsen & Jaccobsen whose wages and transfers alone would have probably have covered the signing of two decent PL players. The only player we signed between relegation the cup final who were better than what we have were Phillips and Crouch and he was a gamble as he had failed at VIlla.

Just to be clear i am not "yang" as Alpine put it, blindingly backing the club regardless of what goes on on or off the pitch. In fact only around a month ago i posted a thread that compared to this time last year in terms of points gained and performances we had not progressed and many of our wins had not been conivincing. The absolutely superb form overr christmas and new year has changed my view on that as we have been outstanding, beating teams easily and the team seems to be really clicking into gear. The fact that we could make 8 changes and still comfortably beat an albeit weakened premier league side shows taht we have a very strong squad who are all playing well and are good enough to get promotion, like any squad a couple of top notch signings for this league wont harm out chances, like any club in the world if players better than you have are available then it would be foolish not to buy them. Some people seem to forget we are in league one though and seem to think we need a squad for of 35 world beaters with top notch players sitting around collection big wages incase we get injuries In contrast, Alpine is negative about absolutely everything. After the 4-1 win against Huddersfield, Alpines comments were "we all know we will f*ck it up against Exeter and Dagenham" i think that just sums up the attitude of the man. I thing that what winds most people us is the fact that he doesn't go to games, has never seen the team play and says he informs himself off this website, yet regardless of what the current view is his comments are always negative to the point where it appears he enjoys us losing or failing, so he can say "i told you so". I fail to understand who someone who doesn't go to games an relies on this messageboard to "inform" himself can be so argumentative against the people he claims to rely on. Anyway enough of this, i'm off to the Rapid Vienna forum to tell them that they will lose today, their squad is to weak to win the Austian league and they wont make the champions league unless they sign 9 new players.
-
Isn't that the case with most referees?
-
You're wasting your time mate, we've had this 1000 times on other threads but Alpine knows best, because he hears the odd match report and keeps himself informed, lol.
-
unlikely, but you can sure he'll be on here with "his" opinion about it, venting his spleen if we haven't won 5-0 or god forbid anyone picks up a knock.
-
And i am sure you will be jizzing into your Apfelstrudels should Puncheon and AOC leave, Lallana be out for the season and Barnard get life Of course no other club in the world has rumours about its player leaving during the transfer window, or will get any injuries between now and the end of the season.

change the f*cking record you boring din.

There are two things to bear in mind. If they want to make it a deterant sentance then being of previous good character matter not one bit. Judges can dish out what they want up to the maximum if they are using it as a deterant sentance and want to make an example. The other thing is current government thinking and from inside the prison service (a very good friend of mine works in a fairly senior role for the HMP) is that if it is a first offence and the sentance would usually be less than a year then they are not being banged up and given heavy community service and fines etc So basically either he will get lucky and get a suspended sentance, heave fine or community service or he is f*cked and will be made an example of and be given a tough sentance of year plus, he wont get 6 months IMO. Given that he will be able to afford his own brief and not have to rely on the sh*t, couldn't give a toss, legal aid barristers your man on the street has to put up with, then he'll have a barrister which will argue his case rather than just turn up so it appears like he's got a defence, then i think he'll be a lucky boy. All assume is indeed guilty of course.
