I went to Tunisia in 06 with the incumbent and her family, not great to be honest. Stayed in a place call Port El Kantaoui which is kind of man made marina, a much better version of Port Solent if you will, i think it is trying to be like the Tunisian Marbella (we dont know this when we went) Its okay as place but i wouldn't go back. The hotel was supposedly one of the best ones in the resort but was full of northerners, of particular annoyance was a bloke who had spent his career as a magician in Blackpool and talked about it non stop and thought he was still on stage doing card tricks everynight. Two families of northern chavs, looked like parents with their daughters and grandchildren, the daughters were about 30 years old, overweight with kids, two of them sha**ed a couple of young Tunisians from the entertainment team. Most annoying was a couple from hull in their 40's with an older couple in their 60's. The classic Brits abroad on an all inclusive drink as much as you can all day everyday "because its all free" The 40's couple wore tracksuits and a heavy gold chain and the 60's guy was so p*ssed one afternoon he had to be put to bed by the waiters in the hotel. It was funny watching it but not really my sort of place. Dont think you can go far wrong with the Canaries though, Egypt is quite reasonable, Agadir in Morrocco is not bad went there three years ago and off to Marrekech on saturday for a week. they would have left sooner or later anyway even if we had stayed up, but we could have had a few more years out of each of them had we not have got relegated. Could probably have got an extra £10m each for them in that case, had a much better side, who knows what would have happened if Lowe had put if hand in his pocket and given Redknapp the money we needed to keep us up. Given the current hatchet infraction policy then yes you would do. I got an infraction for a "pointless post/sarcastic remark" (surely another 200 or so infractions should have been dished out today reading this and the main board) and another for calling someone a "goon" so a racist comment, meant, not meant or even taken out of context is worse than this and deserves more.

Oh i dont have a problem understanding it, i understand totally what you are saying. I've already corrected myself swapping S****horpe and Grimsby for Selby, Rotherham, Doncaster, Keighly, you could add Wakefield as already been mentioned or Batley, Castleford, Guiseley etc. As usual on here though you cant make a point or raise a light hearted off topic conversation without people nit picking at it and trying to prove what a clever clogs they are.

I happen to agree with you on Basingstoke, i've worked there in the past and whilst it's quite a dull town, it's in a great location being pretty much bang in the middle of the M3 (although i am sure some on here will point out it is actually only 0.4628 of the way up) with great road and rail links to London and the south coast, good for work and property is still relatively reasonable compared to towns only 10 miles closer to London, although again i am sure some will compare unemployment rates and property prices for every town in the commuter belt to prove me wrong.

What about Cornwall then? Hardly any sh*tholes, mile upon mile of countryside and cute little villages plus a stunning coastline, dont here to cornish arrogantly claiming how wonderful it and they are.

Grimsby might be in Humberside but did this not used to be called East Yorkshire? As usual with this forum people quick to nit pick.
