  1. I dont understand why everyone is getting worked up. All he has done is write a not inaccurate article, attempting to stoking up the "rivalry". All you lot getting angry about it are just doing excatly what was intended. If their cute little club and town want to put down the beach mats and zimmer frames and stand in the street calling us "scummers" let them. Bournemouth are on our radar for one season and one season only. Just remember, it's them doing all the talking, them claiming they dont fear us, them being spiteful. Let them get on with it.
  2. Really?! Why the dispear then everytime we fail to win? Who at the start of the season exepected automatic promotion? In fact many people on here said only the top 2 was acceptable, is that not arrogant? There is nothing wrong with being arrogant when you are good and when you deliver, but when you dont you end up looking like a c*nt.
  3. It's not inaccurate though is it. In top flight we were a small club at the Dell expectations of just surival and most clubs had a soft spot for. Since relegation, particularly to this league we have become arrogant, expecting to walk this league and being able to sign who we want. The only thing that annoys me is that we have this perception of being perennial strugglers when we weren't but for about 5 or 6 seasons out of 27. Most of the time we finished lower mid table, i am sure Fulham, Bolton and Sunderland aren't considered perennial strugglers.
  4. Another benifit of this is there would be no need to expand the stadium if and when we return to the premier league. You can have one of the 32k stadium tickets or one of the 10k concourse tickets. For many this is the ideal scenario, just show the game on the TV, ideally Sky when its on there and it'll be just like being at home or down the pub leaving people to eat, drink, talk about Eastenders, text or do whatever people do at football these days instead having to watch the game.
  5. 'look at me' clothes? I think you are getting me confused with the jester hat wearing, face paint, fancy dress, "look at me all dressed up, i know how to have fun because im mad" type of unsavory element that is prevalent in our fan base that we seem to have picked up since the move to SMS..
  6. You obviously didn't see his tackle and through ball to Forte on tuesday night then. it's a long time since i've seen one of our midfielders clatter another player without giving away a free kick and then actually do something with the ball. I know it was only 20 seconds of football but the lad is improving.
  7. make games an hour, a lot of our fans struggle to sit down for any longer than 30 mins without eating. Or we could make them 2 hours with breaks every 25 minutes. That way people have three opportunities to eat and drink during the game.
  8. It does have something to do with it, because the people going downstairs 35 minutes into the game are more interested in filling their bellies at half time that watching the team they claim to support.
  9. Why would i ask the question if i knew the answer? DO you eat every 45 minutes at work and home on not?
  10. Ehh? Surely Jaidi is perfect for a physical game? Martin has done well and is a good prospect but Jaidi is a player you want for this sort of game.
  11. It wasn't presumptious, it was a question, clearly. Quick, the work vending machines, it must be nearly snack time...
  12. I go down bang on the half time whistle, have a p*ss usually, sometimes i will have a beer if the queue is short enough to give me sufficent time to drink it before the second half. I drink it quick enough to enable to me to be in my seat for the second half kick off. However i wouldn't let my desire to have pint make me miss a quarter of the game as i am there to watch the football and specifically Saints, not to eat and drink.
  13. How many people do this? I went straight to the game from work last night but didn't feel the need to get downstairs 30 minutes into it to fill my face with pies and burgers.
  14. I am glad you feel strong enough on the subject to post on it. However, read the posts above it wasn't me. I dont own a replia shirt and putting your internet user name on the back of it is mongtastic. You may not post on here very much but when you do at least check your facts first and read the whole thread, otherwise you look like you are trying to find fault in other peoples enjoyment.
  15. Do you eat every 45 minutes on a normal day then?
  16. Neither is okay, but going down for food is worse. People dont stuff food in their faces at 3.45 or 8.30 on a normal day so why the need to do it as soon as they set foot in a football stadium?
  17. I bet this quote was music to your ears from our super exchairman.... "Our academy has continued to flourish, our community and educational activities have made progress, our shop is doing well, our match-day and non-match-day catering is the envy of other clubs, our radio station has made great progress..."
  18. Here is a question for all you "it's a free country, if i want to stuff my face at half time i will" brigade. What would you prefer, Saints win, but no half time feast or Saints lose, but as much food and drink as you can stuff in your chubby little faces?
  19. THere is a huge difference between being style concious and buying anything and everything with and SFC crest on it. Honestly, i think some people would buy a lump of dog sh*t if they painted it red and white.
  20. He might well do, but whoever it is is not me. My mate put a picture on here on the lounge thread a little while back.
  21. With done this already a while back, it's not me, for one i dont own a replica shirt and for two putting your internet name on the back of your shirt was something the gimps back on S4E did c2003. Although i am naturally flattered that someone out there considers me such an internet forum legend they have put my internet user ID on their shirt.
  22. Where did i mention beer? It's people queuing up to stuff their face i have a problem with. Pure greed.
  23. Agreed, its for the day out with your mates and nothing wrong with a few pints before and after, but when i see people streaming downstairs on 35 and 80 minutes why they are there and if they wouldn't be better off spending the afternoon or evening in Mcdonalds. Why some people feel the need to eat and drink as much as possible when they attend a football match is beyond me. Fair enough, some people might have gone straight for work but for most they'd not long have had tea. If they were at home on a none football day would they have tea say 6, then at 8.30 pop down the local take away to get a hot dog, pie or burger? It's just pure greed. No wonder we have so many fat fans.
  24. When i drink i am the funniest, best looking, best dressed most confident man in the world, in reality i am just an even bigger c*nt.
