  1. Paddle Tennis, a cross between squash and tennis, you know that game called Tennis what with it's worldwide appeal and all that. A game that is growing hugely, i play and it's great you should give it a go instead of trying to convience everyone how great womens football is on the internet 😉 Fancy a game of Padel? The world's fastest growing sport | ITV News - Bing video Bit of a stretch to compare Saints girls with Tyro league level players to the world champions losing to Dallas U15s. I've already said some of the girls at futsal are techincally better but football isn't just about having skill otherwise the much lauded Ryan Smith would have been a world wide star. I'm genuinely glad you enjoy it, football is for all after all. It seems i'm not alone though in finding the overpromtion of such a minority sport with a very low standard of quality is somewhat nausiating.
  2. Would be bizarre given we’ve got 3 good full backs already and we don’t have one decent striker
  3. better than spending all my time slagging off the tories on a football forum pal.
  4. Gary Linekar wishing he was racially abused is pretty funny though
  5. I've got one you can have but as you've got me on ignore you wont see this message, too bad for you.
  6. Not hard to be the fastest growing sport when starting from very low numbers. Paddle also claims to be the fastest growing sport in this country, but i dont get regular sky sports newsflashes about what Paddle players are up to this week. The fact of the matter is the standard of football is very low, as demonstrated by the female world champions being beaten by an U15 team and it's about as well supported as small league 2 clubs at the best of times. You seem to believe that just because dont want it rammed down their throat all the time people are against it. As i mentioned about we've got 3 girls in our U9s team, they love it and we love having them. 3 or 4 of the girls are some of the techincally best players in the group at my sons futsal sessions, you'd struggle to find anyone who has any issue with women playing football, what the issue is is that there is clear agenda to massively over promote it way beyond the interest level. THen if anyone dares to say anything about it then they get jumped up accused of being a dinosaur. That's what happens when people dont like hearing the truth
  7. Given it's still not his squad i'm going to give him 9.5.
  8. "pretty much racist abuse" What does that mean? I bet you think is bollocks just Gary "Woke" Linekar trying to fit in.
  9. He does sound very good, a proper strong defender who can head, mark and tackle with a bit of pace as well. No doubt at his age he’ll still be raw but hopefully super Ralph can turn him into the new Van Dijk rather than Kevin Danso
  10. He’s a long term forum favourite I don’t there has ever been a credible link to him
  11. Rumours are the Swedish midfielder from Bologna is very close to signing. Also reports say we are confident of Richards so could there be two?
  12. Yes they lost 5-2 to Dallas U15s boys team. They won the World Cup the last two times it’s been played.
  13. It isn’t “hard to fathom” and it doesn’t “make me angry” some people like womens football, great good for them, good for you. It’s quite simple, womens football is still a minority sport with a very small following, yet the promotion of it is ridiculous in comparison. It’s like an agenda for force people to like it and get behind it. As I said above I wouldn’t mind betting most people saying how wonderful it is could name more than 3-4 of the England squad. id be interested to know how you think it’s a different sport, last time I checked it was one pitch one ball two goals two teams one trying to score more than the other. Maybe there the missing link here, it isn’t actually football?
  14. It makes me laugh that a lot of people about how they love to see saints in the premier league with one of the main reasons being the quality of football yet at the same time people will argue how amazing womens football is, despite the quality of football generally being really reallly poor.
  15. As opposed to the stereotype response that if people don’t agree with something that’s currently fashionable they’re a miserable dinosaur without dated views. 🙄
  16. Just out of interest How many womens games have you been to over the last 5 seasons?
  17. Maybe that’s because in the mens game millions of people watching it every week in person with hundred of millions watching globally on TV.
  18. I watched a bit of England v Latvia game because I’d seen them going on about how brilliant England were playing and on for a record breaking score. The Latvia team were embarrassingly shit. Their defenders could barely kick a ball, their clearances didn’t leave the penalty area, the u9s team j could could have put up better opposition. We have some girls in the team I coach, some of them are really keen and not bad players. I was pleased when saints team got promoted, but then I’d support anyone representing Southampton. I bet most people couldn’t name more than a three or for of England’s squad for the Euros, who and when they’re playing etc. if people are really honest with themselves they only really support it because they think it’s the right thing to be seen to do.
  19. I see the social conditioning is working on you.
  20. Do you honestly believe people are “butthole hurt about it”?
  21. I think it’s funny. The endless force feeding of womens football is hilarious. The sky sports breaking news alerts of someone you’ve never heard of, the celebration of a top flight womens team getting a record attendance which is half of what some teams get for youth games as being a momentous occasion. If people are really honest with themselves they only really support it because they think they should do. Obviously that will upset the likes of sue whistle but that’s the reality as much as they might not like it.
  22. And Rwanda immigrants are 75% men aged 18-39. They’re about to go to war with Congo. Make of that what you will.
  23. Indeed, if we haven’t bid or won’t pay the release clause then they haven’t really beaten us. Probably one of a number of players we’ve enquired about which is pretty normal. Although that’s the second striker today we’ve been reported as missing out on so must be actively looking for at least one, thankfully
