Don’t need to go down that line, You’re already a proven hypocrite.

Depends on your morals and ethics I guess. If I was vehemently against the cause of it then absolutely I’d refuse it.

as MLG is anti royal and believes they are unelected descendants and warlords then he will be refusing the two day jubilee bank holiday next week and insist on working instead so as to have no association with something he is so vehemently opposed too

Fabulous contribution as always pal

Why am I not surprised you liked him…

Im really on the fence with it. I really like the guy and love the fact he seems to get the club and enjoy being here. But that isn't a reason to keep him. Up until about 5 games ago i'd have said keep him. I dont buy this "we couldn't get anyone better" there are loads of managers out there who could get saints to 16th, it's hardly an achievement. It's strange that when we are good we are great, when we are bad we are terrible we dont seem to have any inbetween, 5 points from 13 games is insanely bad, that's almost record low levels over a season not just relegation form. In some way that is the biggest frustration, knowing how good we can be, then seeing them be so awful. So many players have hit a poor run of form at the same time, which cant just be coincidence either some know they are going or are downing tools and the point i made about how so many signings seem to start well and then regress it a real concern. I dont think they'll replace him and i'm still undecided, last season the excuse as injuries and the squad was too small, which was valid, this season there isn't that excuse but things have been just as poor. Although gut feel says i dont see any reason to think things are going to be better next season at the moment.

Find that strange. Branfoot was not only a terrible manage but an absolute tosser. As a bloke Ralph seems like a good guy, i dont really see how you can dislike him. If he was a bit mroe of a wanker then it'd be much easier to want rid of him. In mitigation hes had a hard job to do, had to clear out the crap, limited transfer budget, club was a shambles when he joined. However i have a number of concerns much like everyone. A big worry for me is how many players we've signed that have regressed. Djenepo, Liveramento and Broja were all a bresh of fresh air when they joined making good starts and playing with freedom, but the longer they've been here the worse they've got. Same goes for Diallo, Armstrong and to an extent Salisu. Adams has probably been our most consistent striker over the last two season but seems to get dropped at random times, the semi final for example in favour of Redmond, this season he cant get back in the team despite us struggling for goals. The fundemental issues of being to easy to beat and score against haven't been addressed since he's been here and the obsession with signing kids is starting to do my head in. All in all you want him to do well and it's not been easy but equally he's not really helped himself.

Ralph probably gets a pass for the end of last season as at times we couldn't even out out an eleven of first teamers but this season no excuses. Bit given in the last two seasons we've gone from being pretty great to being absolutely awful are we a good team that hits a bad run of form, or a bad team that hits a good run of form?

i see Troy Deeney has a new documentary calling for black history to be made compulsary in British schools. He complained that when he was at school all they were taugh about was slavery. His missus said that American schools are much better in teaching this, which i found strange given we are often told how behind and racist the US is. He also got asked how much racism he gets these days, 30-40 messages after a match but has conditioned himself not to notice it when he's on the pitch. Found that quite interesting as some players seem to be able to hear racism from one person in a crowd of 50000 from a long way away but Troy has conditioned himself not to hear it. I always liked Troy Deeney, always seemed like a decent bloke who had a tough upbring but has turned himself around to be a force for good, so look forward to watching his documentry.

Can’t believe he’s only 28. Seems to have been around forever. Probably worth a loan deal, when fit huge upgrade on what we’ve got but fitness is the issue

You have to enter a race to have a chance of winning, seems like we've not even bothered. We are smarter than those clubs.

Which 90s band are you regretting the last 25-30 years over?

I will never forget on the way back from a particularly adject loss, i think it was Sheffield United in the league cup under Koeman, a saints fan rang in and ended up crying and ranting a screaming down the phone that he wanted to win league titles and cups, it was hilarious. I know a lot of people hate Adrian Durham but hes a genius at winding people up, some of the bites he gets are brilliant.

"i will miss you" Yep, he's not coming back Oh well, always rated Armstrong more anyway

THINK OF THE RESALE VALUE!!!
-
Agreed good player. Dennis would be okay as well. 10 goals this season in a crap team. Cornet from Burnley would fit in as well i think

Have the scousers started whinging about it yet?

Major revamp needed - but what are our priorities?

I get we were hamstrung for years by Goa but we've lacked an experienced leader at centre back for 5 years. In that time we've signed Lyanco, Salisu, Hoedt, Vestergaard and Bednarek for £60m or so. You wouldn't call any of them a success some have been a disaster. Salisu has potential, Bednarek has been okay for what he cost but most agree he shouldn't be starting. You're not telling me in all that time there hasn't been a player available for £10m or less that would be exactly what we need to do that job. There is absolutely nothing wrong with bringing a handful of young players in let them devlop and sell for big money but when you ignore glaring errors in the squad because of an obsession with resale value then it's flawed -

I guess the big question is if we as fans can all see it why don’t they? -

We should all just start supporting Man City, we are a pointless club -

People don’t like xg because it states the bleeding obvious. If you’ve got a good keeper and defenders you concede less. If you’ve got good creative players and strikers you score more. It’s not frigging rocket science but people think they’re geniuses because they quote an XG number like they’ve discovered a cure for cancer. -
Marginal gains. Another book on the subject is the compound effect. Put simply improving by tiny amounts every day leads to huge improvement over an extended period. Look at ward Prowse, he used to hit every free kick exactly one foot over the angle, over the years he reduced that by 3 inches a season to now be able to get most on target. If Stephens, Lyanco and Bednarek aren’t looking at that for inspiration then I don’t know what’s wrong with them
-
Small increments of improvement. A journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step. If we concede one less goal a season every season by 2089 we’ll be the first team to keep a clean sheet in every game

Exactly. They’ll be happy with 17th every season and selling a player or two for huge profit. That is Serbia leisure holdings model. Meet the new boss same as the old boss
