It’s the same for so many games this season. We play okay but the make mistakes which costs us points, when it keeps happening week after week season after season it’s not lapses of concentration or bad coaching, it’s the players aren’t good enough, plain and simple. Yet say it you get told everything is fine and you’re just negative towards the club.

It should have been put on the the next five games thread to be fair. Lots of complacent posts, lots of claims we could win every game, Tajjuk post is a good on, it appears he thought a win at West Ham was virtually guaranteed.

So why couldn’t we find permanent buyers for Hoedt, Elyanoussi, Forster, Carrillo and Lemina last summer then?

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone say it was a disgrace. Most people agree with your assessment but disagree that over the 90 minutes we deserved anything, perhaps the second half effort may have got a few plucky point votes but the reality is that first half they had a good 4 or 5 golden chances even before the sending off and we could and probably should have been 3 down. Second half we defended well but didn’t really create any chances to win it. Our keeper was man of the match with a penalty save an a brilliant treble save plus Gayle missed two sitters whilst we didn’t make their keeper work hard once. Not really sure why people are considered negative for stating facts and admitting that over the 90 minutes they should have won. Put it this way, if it had been the other way round and we’d not missed a hatful of chances and then dominated the second half getting a late winner I don’t think anyone would be saying we got lucky. They’d be saying we got what our patience deserved.

Now lost 5 of our last 6, over half Way through our run of winnable games which was meant to secure our premier league status and push us more into a top half finish with our squad that is absolutely fine. Lost 3 out of 4 of those Norwich and Watford to Come before an, on paper, much tougher ring of games, Man City, Man United and Everton where we always lose. A few of us warned against complacency and said that our good run was more the same crap players playing at their maximum and were told how ridiculous we were being. Obviously we aren’t going down as I’m sure we can scrape A few more points along with the others teams down there being sh1te too but highlights how much work needs to be done in the summer, which isn’t going to happen.

And then that we didn’t need to do anything as we are perfectly fine for the rest of the season. That’s going well isn’t it..

So I guess that rules out any reasonable transfer business this summer then. I’m sure some will applaud the great business sense of not signing players when we are for sale So another season of the same sh1t players making the same mistakes awaits. Roll Up and get your season ticket everyone, clap along and smile we march on

Far better value to be had buying a championship or even league one club. You could pick one of those up for a half or even third of the price, invest £50m and get them back to having the same sustainable premier league model we have.

I’m sure I’ll be jumped on by certain people and accused of trolling again but apart from our little purple patch between mid November and January we’ve been sh1t this season. We’ll survive because we’ve got a good manager and we’ll manage to pick up another 4 or 5 points from our last 9 games but the reality is it’s the largely same players that have been sh1te under for years under Pellegrino and Hughes as well. Two permanent signings in three transfer windows is p1ss poor. Yet dare to mention it on here and you get told you’re trying to wind people up, trolling, being negative to the club etc.

Yep. The biggest troll on here is always SFC. Never offers a view on anything himself, Never makes any football related posts, just posts about other people. He even admitted That today saying on this thread he doesn’t care what people say or their view he just comes on here to troll them. Will the mods do anything about it? I doubt it. he’s part of the groovy gang that aren’t trolls because they smile and clap at everything the clubs does.

What chances did we create that gives you the idea we looked like winning?

Yeah it was one chance but they had 4 other great ones in the first half as well.

I disagree I though were poor first half even before the sending off and could have been 3 or 4 down. Second half was much better, we were comfortable and could have won it even but for Valreys brain fart

The ball from Shelvey where Gayle was free in the middle of the goal and should have done better, the free header for the (rightl) disallowed goal, the penalty the triple save, when they broke down the left and Gayle again I think hit the side netting when he should have done better. That’s five very good chances right there win the first half. Not trolling at all facts.

I’ve given my view on the performance further up the thread, but you probably didn’t bother reading that just wanted to jump on on of the mods trying to take the p1ss out of of my view What did you think of the game? Was it a red? A penalty? How do you think we did second half compared to first? I’ve given a view on all of them, not just posted about other posters
