Marc Jackson was a joke, he is a photocopier salesman, he was a sales guy at the first ever job i had. -

When we were for sale before around the run up to administration the club put out a lot of fake stories, the staff we warned about this and not to speak to anyone about the speculation. -
im out.

Didn’t Forster lose his place in the first team after an equally awful performance in a 5-2 loss away at Spurs? It would be quite a coincidence if he got it back that way.
-
lighter balls that travel quicker and move in the air, better pitches meaning balls travel quicker on the ground. Plus they did make mistakes but these days every game is on telly and mistakes are highlighted and regurgetated over and over again, back then you'd never see them unless they were one of the three games on match of the day.

I agree, he looked good at times yesterday. He's had keepers make great saves in both games this season, probably should have scored yesterday but his all round game was good, he's certainly come on a fair bit since he joined, reckon the goals will come, If he gets 10-12 this season that's a decent return and improvement,

Great at dictating play that lad. -
Lets hope this Salisu fella is good because all playing this way does is how how sh*t the others are.
-
Apart from the two occasions they cut through us like a knife through butter and had the ball in the net but disallowed due to marginal offsides you mean? Not like the warning signs were there was it.

The only club to make a profit from transfer dealings yet we still have to sell players to fund incomings and we’re in a mountain of debt, it’s quite incredible how badly we’ve been run.

Heads didn’t go down at all that was nothing to do with it, it is simple, we got away with it first half second half we didn’t. First half they had the ball in the net twice before their goal both times ruled out for narrow offsides, then they scored 4 more times with exactly the same tactic and did the same thing time and again, just the runs were better timed and balls were better quality. It was as simple as that. For about 50 minutes we were good going foward but with spurs sitting back in the lead knowing all they had to do was hit a ball in behind our two awful centre backs and Son time the run well they’d be in on goal it was like shooting fish in a barrel, embarrassingly naive and pathetic.

Which is what he was signed as, the fact he’s first choice is down to the Incompetence of other two
-
It’s not just him though is it. We’ve got 3 keepers who cost £25m earning a combined wage of c£200k a week and 3 of them are utter gash.

“Ralph is happy with the squad, he said so. Small-bone has shown he can play in defensive midfield so we don’t need to sign anyone there. Plus we are skint and the Fees recieved for Boufal, Hoedt and Carillo were all swallowed up by agents fees and bonus payments.” saintsweb cheerleaders October 2020

Ridiculous game. It reminded me of the reverse of that villa game when we beat them 6-1, they had a high line and we just knocked balls in behind their two slow centre backs. Incredibly naive defending, the defence like statues, McCarthy awful, only made one save in the match and even then it went onto the post only for it to drop to Kane. Defence opened up time and again. We actually looked good going forward, but defensively we are a joke. Awful tactic with players obviously not good enough and suited to play that high line.
-
This is shambolic.
-
3 goals and 2 disallowed all the same. Ridiculous
-
Typical saints. On top and give away a goal. Played well first half, spurs can’t posssibly be that bad in the second though.
-
The pre match coverage will be all about Bale and Mourinho. the commentator will mention the 9-0 within 10 minutes we will lose after being caught on the break, probably an individual error leading to the goal
-
Typical Lemina display, couple of good touch’s, caught in possession being flashy. Didn’t do much,

Strange move for spurs to sign A golfer On loan but sure Levy knows what he’s doing -
I’d fully expect other clubs not to rely on public interviews with our chairman to gauge our financial situation. Every club is in the same boat, CV-19 much like agents fees and bonuses are not just unique to Southampton. Ralph said we need to improve the squad, the chairman says we can, let’s see if we do. I fully expect in 6 weeks time some will be applauding our amazing pathway for youth using Ralph’s new narrative that he’s Now fine with the squad we have as their evidence.
-
That’s not what Semmens said the other day or what Ralph has been saying, but we’ve been here before haven’t we.. Let’s see if this transfer window pans out like the others before it when there wasn’t a global pandemic or getting tucked up by dodgy sponsors.

https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/11890703/ralph-hasenhuttl-promises-southampton-signings-in-january I seem to remember Ralph saying exactly the same thing before and during the January transfer window. When nothing happened the cheerleaders on here claimed Ralph never meant any of that, it’s all okay because Vokins did alright in a game against one of the worst championship teams. I fully expect in a few weeks time Ralph will say the need to sign players is not urgent because *insert youth team players name* has proven himself to be further on than we thought. All the cheerleaders will applaud it and point out we can’t afford to buy anyone.
