This can’t be true, we are the only club that has made bad signings. No other club has expensive signings on big wages that they can’t sell. Along with them agents fees and bonuses plus us being the only club that’s lost income due to coronavirus, it’s no wonder we need to sell anyone not nailed down again to give us even a passable replacement for our captain we sold.

I grasp it alright, however it's terrible analogy. It's more like saying the wealthy bloke from Manchester can buy a lamborghini, the moderately wealthy bloke from the midlands can buy an Audi, but the bloke with virtually the same income as the Audi guy has to sell his Citreon for a profit before he can buy a skoda. The fact is that many of the clubs who have spent more than £50m and in some case near on £100m more than they've earnt have the same if not less income than us and they have those all important bonuses and agents fees to pay out too, we're skint, but we shouldn't be.

LOL. You do the difference between a positive net spend and negative one dont you pal? Of course every club sells players, the difference is not every club has to sell one player to buy another one. Of all those clubs listed, excluding Norwich as they're no longer in the PL, we've made a profit from transfers yet dont have a pot to p!ss in, the next 3 clubs have spent between £40-£56m more than they've earnt from sales. Even tight arse hated by the fans MIke Ashley has spent £107m more than they've brought in. So unfortunately for you the facts seem to back up my "bleating" but then we know from past experience with you you dont like facts too much.

You'll have to ask the club that pal, but it's a tactic they've used in the past. When we were awful and managed to sell Van Dijk before the transfer window opened we had 3 weeks of being linked to high profile players, ended up with Carillo at the end of the window with the club giving themselves a round of applause for getting such a difficult to do deal over the line. Then of course there was last January, Ralph saying for weeks we needed to do something in the transfer market, quite a few links then when it was obvious nothing was going to happen the cheerleaders claiming Ralph when Ralph said we needed to make signings what he actually meant was he was happy with the squad and that we couldn't afford to sign anyone anyway. Lets also not forget those pesky agents fees and bonuses that we have to stump up for that no one else does, now we appear to be the only club in the UK that is affected by Covid.

"we tried to bring players in but the market is difficult, We have a very good squad, it's not easy to bring players in at the level we need to improve the squad." We've been here before......

Looks like it you that doesn’t know what you’re talking about https://www.transferleague.co.uk/premier-league-last-five-seasons/transfer-league-tables/premier-league-table-last-five-seasons

As are most of the premier league. We have to sell to buy no one else does.

Marc Jackson was a joke, he is a photocopier salesman, he was a sales guy at the first ever job i had. -

When we were for sale before around the run up to administration the club put out a lot of fake stories, the staff we warned about this and not to speak to anyone about the speculation. -
im out.

Didn’t Forster lose his place in the first team after an equally awful performance in a 5-2 loss away at Spurs? It would be quite a coincidence if he got it back that way.

lighter balls that travel quicker and move in the air, better pitches meaning balls travel quicker on the ground. Plus they did make mistakes but these days every game is on telly and mistakes are highlighted and regurgetated over and over again, back then you'd never see them unless they were one of the three games on match of the day.

I agree, he looked good at times yesterday. He's had keepers make great saves in both games this season, probably should have scored yesterday but his all round game was good, he's certainly come on a fair bit since he joined, reckon the goals will come, If he gets 10-12 this season that's a decent return and improvement,

Random Ex- Academy Player Transfer News no-one will care about...

Great at dictating play that lad. -
Lets hope this Salisu fella is good because all playing this way does is how how sh*t the others are.
-
Apart from the two occasions they cut through us like a knife through butter and had the ball in the net but disallowed due to marginal offsides you mean? Not like the warning signs were there was it.

The only club to make a profit from transfer dealings yet we still have to sell players to fund incomings and we’re in a mountain of debt, it’s quite incredible how badly we’ve been run.

Heads didn’t go down at all that was nothing to do with it, it is simple, we got away with it first half second half we didn’t. First half they had the ball in the net twice before their goal both times ruled out for narrow offsides, then they scored 4 more times with exactly the same tactic and did the same thing time and again, just the runs were better timed and balls were better quality. It was as simple as that. For about 50 minutes we were good going foward but with spurs sitting back in the lead knowing all they had to do was hit a ball in behind our two awful centre backs and Son time the run well they’d be in on goal it was like shooting fish in a barrel, embarrassingly naive and pathetic.

Which is what he was signed as, the fact he’s first choice is down to the Incompetence of other two
-
It’s not just him though is it. We’ve got 3 keepers who cost £25m earning a combined wage of c£200k a week and 3 of them are utter gash.

“Ralph is happy with the squad, he said so. Small-bone has shown he can play in defensive midfield so we don’t need to sign anyone there. Plus we are skint and the Fees recieved for Boufal, Hoedt and Carillo were all swallowed up by agents fees and bonus payments.” saintsweb cheerleaders October 2020
