No he didn't. But far from ideal going into the most crucial spell of the season with a 38 year old who has never been a successful PL keeper and is the third best keeper the club owns. Nothing that can be done so hopefully Kelvin does well but every other time he has had a run of games in the PL he has been dropped.

Saves yes but still showed the areas that will cost us at some point. No point hiding from that. Distribution was poor and nearly got tackled a couple of times because he was too slow. He has never been a successful PL keeper and isnt likely to have improved in a year without playing. Great saves today though! But big blow to lose Forster.

So, the situation we feared has happened. Real shame. Didnt look good for FF.

Kelvin made some great saves first half and we know he can do that. His distribution was awful though and as you would think for someone of his age who hasnt played for a year he looked very slow and sluggish. Overall didn't play great but did enough to win. Feels soured a lot by the Forster injury though, could have big implications for next season too if its as bad as feared. Sad thing is it was totally avoidable if he had come to get the ball from Bertrand in the first place. He was (as ever) rooted to his line. But hopefully its not as bad as feared.

Kelvin is a good shot stopper but otherwise is worrying...but we have known all season that if Forster got injured we would be stuck. If its really bad we may need another keeper in the summer for next season.

Big advantage coming 6th over 7th and that is certainly a realistic aim for us. Also must have an impact on recruitment. Say for example Clyne hadnt moved by then and played in a Europa qualifier, would he be CL cup tied?

Slattery retweeted an article tonight saying Arsenal want him. He then deleted it. Another that isnt the brightest by the looks of things. Seems like his family live in Oxfordshire and he is always going back there so no real tie to the area.

I guess no point signing players for the sake of it. If the coaches don't feel they will become pros then its better they invest the time on those who do have the potential.

Absolute madness. He isn't ready and its this kind of thing that gives players a warped sense of reality. IMO Mason has been far more impressive and dynamic this season. JWP obviously good and has a lot of potential, but this is too much too soon and not deserved through performances this season. Especially when you think how consistently class the likes of Lambert, Lallana and Clyne were to earn a chance.

Djuricic reminds me a lot of Ramirez. Good technical player, effective if used in the right way. But to be a success he will need to be braver and more consistent than Ramirez has been.

3 cameo sub apps and one Cup start ending after 29mins. Hasn't featured in a league game since August. Pretty minimal.

Both the last two seasons he has had a good pre season and then completely faded away. He obviously has something going for him and impressed me in the Bmth and Brighton friendlies but I am a little suprised we are keeping him. Hopefully he can make an impact next year.

Get him in to run the U18s! Of course he wouldn't be interested but he is ideally suited to that type of role IMO.

Yeah he has 8 I think. So of he just gets one yellow in the next 3 games he will be ok. Think there is another ban for 15 but hopefully that won't be an issue. They do need to look at it though IMO. Too easy to get yellow cards and the 2 match ban at a crucial time for getting one every 3 games seems severe.
