Before he joined Dortmund maybe. Now? Slim chance surely.

Apparently Leicester are interested in Vilhena. @KuipTalk: Leicester City is seriously interested in Tonny Vilhena, and leading the race in signing the midfielder, who is a free agent this summer.
-
Marc Pugh and Oliver Norwood from Reading. Rob Elliott to replace Forster with Gazza until Elliott is fit. Luke Benali to replace Bertrand.
-
Wells is nowhere near the standard needed to get on our bench.
-
Pearson would be a massive backward step.

Isn't it just the same as Koeman saying he wants to manage Barcelona or Holland in the future? I doubt any Spurs fan thinks Pochettino will only ever manage Spurs.

Newcastle fans very unimpressed with Wijnaldum in the second half the season generally and away from home over the whole season. Given they paid £15m or so, which would be a club record for us, is he all that? Only scored two more PL goals than Tadic, none away from home and 4 in one game against a poor Norwich side. Hasn't scored since January so not really doing it when they need it the most either.
-
Good chance of those two being rested anyway. Can see Sterling starting as he has just come back from injury.

Good summary. The players with the best ability are often the most frustrating because you know they are capable when they mess up. Others get commended for trying.

Does he play perfect passes? No, not always. But generally his weight of pass and direction is pretty good enabling the recipient to do something with it. Certainly most of the games Bertrand is most effective going forward is when he is combining with Tadic on the left. He is far from perfect. But generally when he is playing well it tends to have a high impact on the team. Since being back in the PL he and Lallana have easily been the two standout attacking midfielders for creating chances, albeit very different types.

Reed won't play and JWP hasn't earned a start in a must win game on recent form. Will be interesting to see if we revert away from the 4-4-2 of late. Suspect we will go 4-3-3 with Davis, Wanyama and either Romeu or Clasie in midfield.
-
Agree he is extremely frustrating and could be better than he is but probably most teams creative players get criticism for simillar. Sanchez for example is superb (obviously miles better than Tadic) but equally holds onto the ball for too long at times. Tadic's job is to create chances in a tough league and his ability as you say to play the perfect pass is far higher than anyone else we have. You can also see the other players trust Tadic to play those passes because they make runs for him that they don't for other players. Creative players who cover lots of ground are always more likely to be subbed than defensive players or key strikers. That Tadic is always trying to create shows his character in a different way to how others show theirs.

Excellent of late and playing with confidence yet strangely seems to be relatively unappreciated by some sections of the fanbase. Some interesting stats: Goals: Seven league goals which is the same as Mane and only 2 fewer than Shane Long. Also the same no of league goals as Oxlade-Chamberlain has in his entire Arsenal career. Assists: Same number of assists (7) as the likes of Barkley, Firmino, Fabregas and Lamela. Largely only bettered by the big names like De Bruyne, Payet, Mahrez etc. Chances Created: Only Ozil, Eriksen, Payet, Willian, De Bruyne and Silva have created more chances than Tadic in the PL. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/04/26/mesut-ozil-is-the-premier-leagues-best-chance-creator/ For example, he played some lovely through balls to Long on Saturday which were wasted somewhat. There are also some harder to quantify benefit. In an attacking sense he links so much better with the full backs than any other player we have. His play for Cedric to assist Mane's header was excellent as was his build up for the Mane goal at Everton, neither of which would be direct assists. Summary: His job is to create and he does that very well despite what some say. Key player for us. Bargain at the price we paid.

A few of the lads I know will only buy a ticket if Jonno Quick is confirmed.

Spurs have been poor in the second half.
-
Wanyama would be a good purchase for Spurs to compete with Dier. He is still young, has proven he can fit the style and will likely cost between 12-15m (far less than Stoke paid for a relatively unproven Imbula). A bargain really for a proven but still young PL player in a difficult position to recruit for. Spurs were keen under a year ago so I doubt will have totally binned off the idea and they know his contract situation and their form this year and CL qualification will only strengthen their hand.

Does he actually? Everyone says he does but a lot of the time he plays relatively simple passes. Easily his most frequent pass is to Fonte or VVD. I wouldn't say Clasie is an especially creative passer, more neat and tidy. I thought he was going to be more of a pass and move player from watching the Feyenoord clips but he largely sits very deep and drops in to the back four when VVD goes forward. Which is perfectly fine. But he isnt a huge influence in our attacking play through creative passing IMO. Also, I only want Wanyama to play simple passes. That is his game because he is there more for his off the ball work. On it he is much better when ge plays very simple. No requirement for him to be more adventurous because he isn't really capable of it.

Not to have a career, no. But to play in our first team they do. First goal is to supply players for our first team. Developing players to have a career elsewhere lower down the pyramid is a secondary IMO. At the moment, aside from players who have already played in it there isn't anyone particularly on the cusp of making that step to the first team squad. Reed and Targett have been knocking around for a while now. Its time for someone else to grab the chance. Not a criticism, just an opinion.

http://snpy.tv/26pcGTo Awful error.

Spurs turn defence into attack so quickly. Walker, Rose and Dembele don't get as many plaudits as Kane and Alli but are massive in how they play. Few central midfielders as accomplished as Dembele and able to drive forward 40 yards with the ball.
-
He has pace but not sure he knows what to do with it.

I said apart from the ones who have featured...and noted Jones promise. You see a lot of the games, do you think Little, Gape who is over 20, Sims, Hesketh, Gallagher etc are going to be PL quality players?
