  1. Anyone know how many tickets are still available for the big match? We cant get over for the Donny match and i am hoping theres still a chance of buying these seperately. Seems bit expensive to buy both sets and not use half of them. Shame i cant use my Donny away ticket.

  3. Happy days The 2500 saints in london are having a party.
  4. Same here. Hate listening to matches on the radio. Brings back memories of listening to poor crackling reception radio during the 70s and 80s.
  5. Both Caplow and Lallana were excited watching the game last night. Hope they mention it to Atkins and Adkins. Bilbao were on fire last night. Dont often see Utd completely ouplayed like that. United were not up for it? Do you reckan The Ferg would accept that? Nope What got me was the intense atmosphere in the stadium...electric. The Spanish dont usually get that fired up in the grounds , but that place was buzzing. Shall check out Bilbao the next few seasons, if their allowed to keep their players that is.

  7. Skiing in nearly northern Sweden. The only one at the After-ski not listening to the music but following text updates on the official site. Whisky and rum in the evening. Sunday , and a seven hour drive home .
  8. To be honest they seem to lose/draw against the lower placed sides and do better against the top half teams , though.
  9. Hi Ron. Then we grew up in Littleton together, and probably know each other. My surname is Timms. Played for littleton&harestock juniors. Had first pint in the Running Horse. Lived a while on North Dr. Dune...went to Crawley school 69-76. The school was no more than a house. We were all farmers and learnt absolutely nout, except how to paint Mike Atyeos hair. Went to Henry Beaufort after that.
  10. 45 , living in Gothenburg , Sweden. Born littleton , Winchester. Studied Brighton Poly during the 80's. Moved to the swedish West coast late 80's. Dad took me as a little nipper to the Dell for my first match...no idea but do remember sitting in the East stand and the roar after à goal. First away was Keegans return to Anfield. We got beat 2-0 but our support was emense, in the good old days of away terraces in the 80's. Great day out.
  11. Hi. Gothenburg is better. Yes the climate is sh1te but the place is beautiful and much more relaxed (safer at night) and peaceful than the UK. Will not move back!
  12. Yer they started making everyone sit down straight from the kick-off. BUT most of us kept standing up anyway (and a few "Stand-up if u..."that certainly helped) and after the first 15 mins they stopped hassling everyone. I was on the right flank and stayed on me feet all match. As did most aroung me, but thats cause we chose to. Meaning, nearly everyone sitting down , wanted to. Thats boring , but its their choice. I was expecting a much rougher welcome from the stewards and the rozzers, but thought they were actually ok. As were the people of the yorkshire. Pleasantly surprised.
  13. Yep , hi OldSarum. After closing time at the Angel, we found live music at The Ship, then classic brit-pop songs and a sticky floor at the Northern Monkey . Great evening. Do enjoy these away days. Hope to see you and the boys soon again.
  14. Great saturday evening in the Northern Monkey pub in Leeds. Hi to all the Saints fans that danced the night away , to real music. Fantastic place. How did you guys get on after tasting the owners own special HOT sauce? His revenge on us for their defeat. That had to be the hotest thing ever! Seriously dangerous!
  15. Enjoyed that one. Did anyone else notice the senior copper there even laughing at that one. Classic.
  16. Loved our longgggg rendition of OWTS through the second half, especially Leeds were putting us under some pressure. It actually kept me calmer. Well done us all. Leeds support was sh1te.
  17. Lunchtime beers going down nicely. Off to Elland Rd shortly. Lets get at em........

    McDonald's

****e food ****e company. We built a new MC building a few years ago and we were aloud to eat at much as we wanted for free on their grand opening day. I managed one big super duper meal and felt sick afterwards. Had to bin the secong one i had on my tray. As others said , I cant even stand the smell of the place since then. Dont mind their shakes , on a summers day.
  19. Good one "Random cop" I always thought this classic video from the 80's was even better. "Ninjas"
  20. If Lallana and Lambert are fit....we WILL win this one Sharp and Lambert up front will hopfully be too much for their week defence. If not , then i'm a bit woried , Donny all over again. Would settle for a draw. Drinking in pubs in the town or near the ground before the game?
  21. This thread seems to highlight the lack of good english keepers nowdays. We use to be world leaders for quality men between the posts. What worries me (as an england supporter) is what happens when Hart gets injured. Mr.Green is one big liability. KD is great for Saints (on and off the pitch) but definately NOT an international. Not saying he's any worse than Green though.
  22. Thought he was a really good player for us with amazing ball controll. Could hold it up well, which apparently annoyed most people in the ground. We probably didn't use him enough when he was here. You should always have room for a "defensively week but skillfull player" in the side. MLT cough. On the other side , he was a moody french ****. Cant believe he's still playing. Seems ages ago since he was making pretty crop circles at StMarys. Dont think he'll enjoy being in the northern paradise that is Doncaster.
  23. Back now in Scandoland after a cracking weekend. Great sing song before the game in the pub on the High street, Moon over Water? Vicarage Rd - might be okay when its finished. BUT they did like their effing PA system. It cancelled out every other sound in the ground and right up to the kick-off. Turn it down ffs. Watford - they seemed to have given up, both the team and their fans. We strolled through this match. Not pretty but effective. Had a right jolly evening with a bunch of scousers at our hotel afterwards. They (rightfully) wer'nt that confident about getting a result at Wembley. That shows the strength of the Championship. Hopefully this should get a few of the dropped players (Sharp, Hammond, Punch, Guly,DeRidder) motivated to up their game and come out fighting in the coming weeks. Back next week for dirty Leeds. Cant wait!
  24. Just joking....Gonna have a full fire up in the morning , then straight off to the pub. Will also be around town on the friday night...see you fellow saints (Joe) around town then!
