having lived outside Winnie i can recommend using the carpark at the swimming pool. A nice pleasant walk through the park to the market. the parking situation in town is auful.

back in the good old days when i could stay out on the town til the early hours, on the way back to the room i once/twice put down a couple of towels on two of the best seats around the pool. Perfect. Felt like a d1ck when arriving to the pool well after lunch to our reserved loungers. Did get some dirty looks. Too hungover,tired and sweaty to be bothered though. Yes the Germans do master this technique. But its only cause they are more organised than the rest of us lazy fookers.
