  1. One shot on target in a crucial game is pretty damning.
  2. Moi stifles us every single time he plays. No surprise we are poor tonight.
  3. Maybe busting a gut is the wrong choice of words and I do get that he does do some defensive stuff but surely he's meant to help out offensively. He just never seems to look capable of troubling opponents in that area and we are weaker going forward with him in the side. He's had loads of chances and should be delivering far more especially at this critical time.
  4. For me he could at least show that he cares by busting a gut for the team but he seems to just amble through games having zero influence.
  5. Disappointed to see Moi starting. It's about time he contributed something in the offensive sense by making some penetrating runs forward or defence splitting passes but not holding my breath. Lavia on the bench also makes us far weaker. Still, I guess Ruben wants to give some a rest after only playing recently. Makes this a bit tougher but still possible we'll get the win.
  6. With 7 points from 4 games, 3 of which were away and included Chelsea and Man Utd, haven't we already started a good run? Think it's more a case of extending a good run.
  7. Well we won two of those games 1-0. Clean sheets give you a chance.
  8. Win this and we're 2 points behind Wolves who currently sit 13th. Crazy!
  9. Nah, the blame will be fairly and squarely on Ankersen and his fancy algorithms.
  10. This. 3 clean sheets out of 4 tough games is a great improvement for a team that had been conceding goals for fun. Keep this tight defending going and we'll give ourselves a chance.
  11. Should be throwing the kitchen sink at them.
  12. Baz KWP Bednarek Bella Perraud Lavia JWP Walcott Alcaraz Sully Adams
  13. Might be wrong but I'm no convinced Tella will cut it in the Premier League - Championship is his level for me.

Have to disagree with you because I think Bednarek is awful on the ball. He dawdles and takes way too much time enabling opponents to press him into lumping the ball in a blind panic. If you are trying to play out from the back he is the last person you want receiving the ball from the keeper or a team mate.
  15. Leicester 1-2 Chelsea
  16. Ruled out by VAR
  17. Yeah, Everton now 2 up.
  18. Feels like a day when results are not going to go our way.
  19. Yeah, they certainly peaked in the second half against Liverpool 🙂
  20. Why don't you contribute some comments instead of the confused faces all the time. It's getting boring now.
  21. Well if he's been with us for over five years he hasn't exactly made a difference so can't imagine he'll be missed.
  22. If only we could strive to start a game half as fast as Brentford tonight - a fantastic example of how important it is to fly out the blocks. We never do it these days.
  23. A good coach should be able to mix it up - horses for courses. As to us now being a high pressing side, the jury is sill out on that for me. We don't press anything like as high or aggressively as we did under both Poch and Ralph in the early days. I'd like to see us revert to the aggressive high press because it's when we look our best and give opponents more trouble plus the five subs rule helps when players tire.
  24. Gary Neville and Graeme Souness going at each other like a couple of kids - hilarious 🙂
  25. Different rules for red cards for the big boys. Compare that to DCC tap on the back. Ludicrous. Not even a yellow card shown.
