It was a high quality finish from RF. He did well to control the shot because it would have been easy to slash at the ball and send it over the bar.

With Alcaraz not on top of his form maybe Fraser could be an option as the number 8 alongside Smallbone and Downes.
-
It's a very good result and 10 points from the last 12 is great although I think this squad should be capable of more polished performances than we're getting.

It was a poor attempt at humour quoting from Dad's Army. I didn't mean it literally 🙂

The perfect time for us to score. Surely we'll hold on.
-
To run down the clock maybe.

We're doomed!

Exactly. Where are the signs that we are improving?

What's new?

Seen a few Farke off comments to be fair.

RM is attempting to coach possession based football yet, rather than building play in a measured way we are reliant on a couple of instances of individual skill. Something not working unless I'm missing something. Still, we're promised that eventually it will suddenly just click into gear - not under RM and his coaches it won't.

Don't recall anyone claiming Leeds manager can do no wrong.
-
More silky stuff from the RM playbook of total football. Imagine how good it will be if he ever actually succeeds in coaching them how he wants them to play - it'll never happen of course.

Not rapid.

Limpid.

That's a bonus.
-
Because we are very poorly coached.
-
Maybe give him some forward balls in behind where he can use his blistering pace to cause a bit of havoc - I know it's a bit radical but it could work.

Below Swansea as things stand 🙂

Same old same old.

Sorry, you've lost me there.

Just to help you the following example was given by the Collins English dictionary. It doesn't seem to align with your opinion that it has to 'start again from the very same state you started the previous cycle in' although I'm sure you'll disagree. Times, Sunday Times

I described what I think will happen if we don't get promoted and suggested this could continue - to me what I describe constitutes a perpetual cycle ie a situation or process that repeats itself in an ongoing manner. You're welcome.

Breaking news for you, RM's system of play is, by his own admission, very difficult to learn. If we don't go up and there is more major upheaval next pre-season, with new players having to learn this exceedingly difficult way of playing football, we'll be almost back to square one so results are likely to follow the pattern we are seeing now. The point many are making is how do we get out of this perpetual cycle? It seems a fair question.

We'll also lose Che Adams whether people like him or not. Add the loan players such as Downes and THB to the list. Along with those you mention that's a large percentage of players in and around the first team who'll need to be replaced by newcomers who will have to come in and learn RM's convoluted system at the start of next season. In those circumstances how are we expected to improve and move forward? It does feel as though it threatens to become a case of rinse and repeat while hovering around mid-table if we don't go up this season. I suspect RM has this grand idea of how he wants his teams to play but he is not convincing me that he and his coaches have the necessary skill levels to teach and implement it - this is my concern because progress to date should be far more evident than what we have seen so far, not just in terms of results but also in terms of performance levels. We need to see a strong display tomorrow and hopefully a win.
