  2. I agree, but people don't want to hear it. Have heard disgusting racist abuse dished out to him an numerous occasions. He was far from the worst player last night, but received more criticism than anyone else. Some of our fans are complete morons. He could have done better going forward, but to call him lazy last night was ridiculous. He worked as hard as anyone and won the ball back loads of times.
  3. Player ratings/report http://www.thesaintshub.com/saints1-1ipswich.html Frustrating

  7. Worst thing about last night was Saints fans singing I'm forever blowing bubbles. Embarrassing at any time, but we've got them next week in a big promotion battle? Presumably those idiots all want us to lose next Tuesday? Add to that all the hysterical tarts who are complaining like we are a club in crisis. We have some right idiots in our support at the moment. If only we were like Leeds fans and got behind the team even when things weren't going right. People need to get some perspective. This time last year we were in League 1, not guaranteed of promotion. We're now 2nd in the Championship, but rather than being overjoyed at how well we are doing, all I here is moaning/people shouting abuse at our own players. Sometimes I think some fans don't deserve promotion. My player ratings/report on the game http://www.thesaintshub.com/saints2-3millwall.html
  8. Player ratings/report: http://www.thesaintshub.com/saints1-1cardiff.html Much improved performance, leaves me very confident for the upcoming months. We win this league.
  9. Will also say that if Guly had played like Barnard and De Ridder did yesterday he would have been absolutely crucified. They're treated like gods no matter how good or bad they play, but Guly is slaughtered every time he makes the slightest mistake.
  10. My player ratings/report for the game, give it a read please: http://www.thesaintshub.com/millwall1-1saints.html
  11. Our support has been **** poor this season. Some people seem to forget we weren't even guaranteed to get out of League 1 this time last year. We've done incredibly well to get where we are, and all the players have put in an incredible amount of effort, but expectations have risen to ridiculous levels now. There's too many idiots who seem to take pleasure in abusing our own players whenever someone missplaces a pass. Stuff like I'm forever blowing bubbles has been sung at Millwall before, and it's hugely embarrassing. We've got far too many chavy teenagers in our support who haven't got a ****ing clue
  12. Match report/player ratings, check it out: http://www.thesaintshub.com/forest0-3saints.html
  13. Have written in depth about our current form, discussing why we've been less impressive over the last 8 games compared to the first 17. Also look at possible solutions to problems and the strength and weaknesses of our promotion rivals. Give it a read: http://www.thesaintshub.com/wherediditallgowrong.html Where does everyone else think we have been going wrong in the last 7 weeks or so?
  14. Good to see so many youngsters being given a chance, the future is bright that's for sure. My report/player ratings on today's game, give it a read please http://www.thesaintshub.com/coventry1-2saints.html
  15. The least anticipated Saints game in recent memory? My take on the game: http://www.thesaintshub.com/coventrypreview.html

  18. My full thoughts on the game can be read here : http://www.thesaintshub.com/saints2-0palace.html Thought De Ridder had by far his best game in a Saints shirt, tracking back and working hard like he never has before. Hooiveld was total class, as was Guly. Happy days
  19. My full thoughts/player ratings: http://www.thesaintshub.com/pompey1-1saints.html Bit of an anti-climax to be honest. Did enjoy the celebration for the goal, and the atmosphere though. Fair play to whoever brought the smoke bombs in, would like to see stuff like that more often. Pompey fans weren't all that really. Completely silent after our goal until they equalised
  20. Says the person who has a lot more posts than me on here in a lot shorter space of time. Took me 30 seconds to look it up. If you're going to accuse me of not knowing anything, don't compare Dean Hammond with Liam Lawrence.
  21. They play in completely different positions you moron. 25,000 hits already on my website this month alone. Not bad for someone who doesn't know anything about football.
  22. The league table would suggest otherwise. Just my opinion. Which of their players would you have instead of our starting players then?
  23. I'd say about 80% came from memory and 20% researched. Had to look up most of the stuff about Pompey's finances in 2009/10, but that was about it. Obviously I had to check things like dates too. Got a pretty good memory when it comes to football, although I wish I could forget some of those games.
  24. Thanks JC, has now been corrected.
  25. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read it, and thanks for all the kinds words, very much appreciated. Have now added a preview for the game itself, if anyone's interested: http://www.thesaintshub.com/saintspompeypreview.html. As I mention in that piece, we should be confident about Sunday, even with our injuries and away form. Just ask yourself, how many Pompey players would you trade for ours? I honestly can't think of one who I'd rather have. We are massively superior to them in every position IMO, and they should be a lot scared of us than we are of them. I would take any kind of win, but would absolutely love it if we absolutely hammer them, like Man City did to United at Old Trafford this season.
