Ryan suffered In the second half last night because he didn't get a decent pass in the entire 45 minutes. There were a number of times where he went on a run in both the first and second half and the player in possession turned away from him. Only Lallana gave him any cover in the first half, and when Sturridge and Lallana switched at the start of the second half he was like Billy no mates. Clyde did well. Other than the Vardy chance we didn't look like scoring, I thought from where I was sat high up on the half way line that Clyne was fouled just before he shot for his chance near the end, what did the TV show?

I was at the game, as were a few other Saints fans. He led his team magnificently, worked his socks off as usual, and when it mattered looked a class above the others on both sides.
-
He was on my shortlist of 1 on this thread on the 8th June. Shame I am not a betting man. I am sure someone else also mentioned his name before me.

Top post, sanity amongst all the madness -
Good points, it will be interesting to see what we have in mind. Perhaps there will be some more formal arrangement and some sort of financial support. It would have to be an arrangement with a club we trust judging by the comments on this years loans. Sending the youngsters overseas would be a bit commitment for all involved.

Have you been hacking into the black box?

Vilhena is certainly not a like for like replacement, so that bit is wrong as well.....

Joey Barton and Scott Brown to be sent off for fighting in the first Old Firm derby
-
And most importantly, he wants to sign, he is happy in the area. If that article is correct there is not much difference in the positions of the two clubs, I would be surprised if a deal is not agreed.

I was thinking Monaco, Geneva, etc. since dinner is on you next time!

With Arsenal about to sign Xhaka, that probably rules Arsenal out from signing Wanyama

Spot on advice. I started taking my lad at 5 to the Dell, he had a season ticket with his older sister in the section with no adults. He did fine. We have both had a season ticket at St.Marys ever since and we go on football weekends to watch other games abroad. I started taking my three grandchildren at the same age, two are now season ticket holders and if I can get a another place in the family centre all three will be.
-
Thanks for all the reports this season Glen. Business takes me all over the place so I don't get to see as many games as I should, but I always look forward to your take on the game, whatever the result.

With regards to the centre backs, we of course have three centre backs plus Bertrand. There was a lot of talk in the media about a lack of a left sided centre back in the squad, ignoring the fact that Ryan had played in that position in a number of games this season. Maybe this is Roy's plan?

Quite right, I wouldn't been making the point if it was a genuine security incident. This was not when all is said and done, so as I say it is their fault, and failure to fulfil a fixture when it is in the power of the club to do so is a sanctioning event
-
As stated above, it is clearly their responsibility, therefore their fault. See if the PL or the FA have the balls to sanction them.
-
How about a points deduction for failing to fulfil the fixture. It was their own fault. Middlesbrough got a points deduction for less a few years ago..

Stek will stay

As Kane was (albeit) walking towards the path of the ball, I am sure that some officials would have given that movement as interfering with play. Moss has been revealed as making more game changing mistakes than any other referee this season.
-
All the talk of Man U finishing in fourth, it is possible for them to finish sixth. West Ham win midweek and both Uniteds to lose at the weekend, combined with a win for us and we are fifth!
-
Better start saving, my comment at half time during the Liverpool game that that ends our European hopes may have been a bit premature!
