Disagree, thought he looked distinctly average
  4. best £10 i ever spent
  5. PS the master blaster ride made me feel ill because of the new thai singha beer
  6. Great day, good format, enjoyed it immensely, realy interesting and i think anyone who went will see the same. I am actually getting thoroughly f**krd off with our negative fan base, i have bought a season ticket, shirt, Markus Cup ticket and contributed to the flag this month because I have ability to save appropriately for things you now are going to happen WELL in advance. I agree with the post above, the scottish bremen lads were quality. Great day, loved it. Met bilbao fans in town tonight, great banter.
  7. Ticket sales have been poor by all accounts, I think we need to sign a player to push sales up anywhere near the 10,000 mark.
  8. I don't begrudge him moving to better himself. What I do begrudge is the way it is being engineered by his Father through the press. There are certain ways to conduct yourself and bleating about things in a red top isn't one of them. When (and if) a bid comes and is accepted, talk to the manager and chairman and explain your reasons for wanting to read. No-one can begrudge a young lad for wanting to play at the highest level possible. What people can can begrudge is using the media as a tool for unsettlement, even worse in a paper like the sun.
  9. I think it was unwise, unnecessary and underhand. I don't think Cortese will let it lie, not his style. Thank god we weren't one of the clubs being offered around.
  10. I'm there, how many tickets have been sold? Hope it is a few, good format, hope for a good crowd. Just happy to get back down Saint Mary's.
  11. Does any one know how much the 'undisclosed' fee is likely to be? Great signing.
  12. Renewed Saturday morning at 9.00am (after queueing that became 09.17am) It says this on my invoice, will receive the ST in 3 weeks time apparently.
  13. I love him, I too have a T-Shirt.
  14. Quite sad to see him go, quite a nice chap as well. Met him out when he was suspended following his Bournemouth Kung Fu kick, it was a friday night. Me and mates went over to speak to him and ask him for a photo but he informed us it was club policy that no-one was allowed out on a friday night before a game suspended or not, 2 minutes later we look over and is secretly pouring alcohol into a glass so no-one can see. We saw, he later spoke to us and was quite sound, but asked us to promise we wouldn't tell anyone. We didn't, but he's left the club now so it doesn't matter. Football wise, probably not quite good enough, was improving though.
  15. I think whoever has compiled that list has believed a lot of hype. Adam Lallana is a better, more influential footballer than Chamberlain at this is moment in time. That is an unarguable fact.
  16. To continue my spots, during the season I see Chamberlain, Ward-Prowse couple of other academy lads get off the train every day at Southampton Central, the train from Portsmouth. Think it must arrive about 8.15 to platform 2. How very dull!!
  17. I met him in the Orange Rooms with Ryan Tafazoli, not too of my best Saints spots.
  18. It's on ESPN if anyone is interested, was going to go but when Adam didn't make the final squad my interest levels waned. Have no real interest in England at any level and I know it's only a tenner, but there is £465 to be spent at the end of the month!!!
  19. It's all ok for me, budgetted/saved for £500. Renewal is costing me £465, that's on par with what I expected and most rational people would take. Will renewal in July, no problems at all. I imagine most people will think the same.
  20. I have just contributed, but did not leave a message. Does that matter? Brilliant idea, can not wait to see it.
  21. Butters did make the pitch, he had jeans and a blue and white T-Shirt on.
  22. Are you talking about today or yesterday? Butterfield is in some pictures on OS yesterday in tracksuit and did lap of honour today in plain clothes, he is injured, he will get a new contract Dale Stephens was there today as well (although will probably be sent back to Oldham) as was Gobern. I am pretty sure that Gobern's contract will not be renewed and Lee Holmes seemed to be saying goodbye today (based on body language).
