Looking to start playing football, preferably in the central Southampton area on a Sunday? Does anyone know any teams/play for a team looking for players? Previously have played in Wessex League/Dorset Leagues but want to play Sundays for fun as have now relocated to Southampton ?!?! Any help appreciated.

I quite like leftback's post. Not sure why, kind of a guilty pleasure.

I can't believe the fuss people make here about pricing, £15 is a good price and parking is free in so many places. What do people spend their money on, not being able to afford this? What else can you do on a Saturday afternoon for that price and all other home tickets got paid for at the start of the season? Not a lot !!! Get along to the game and let's continue the feel good factor. We truly have the most fickle fan's in the country, really starting to get my goat. I love the cup.

I think I feel p*ssed off as I trapsed all the way to Huddersfield for that drivel last week, and the prospect of losing to Oldham doesn't really sit well with me. BUT, if I get half cut before, during and after then I will feel much better so booze dependency is the way forward.

I think we will beat huddersfield the way we are playing. (On a personal note, have a ticket but can not find transport, travel club sold out seemingly, trains are ridiculous and normal lift has bailed, anyone able to help will pay good wedge for a lift?!)

Is this offer of a place on a minibus still available? Have ticket but struggling for transport?

I actually Love Dan Seaborne. Think he is massively underrated and Adkins has stopped him hoofing. Guly's touch is immense ... we were so good today

In the Arkells Stand, am i to presume this is the covered section at the end (in the corner) of one of their bigger stands?

We can only work with Fact's.... First fact it is clear that a replacement has NOT lined up, would Cortese really leave the club managerless a day before the transfer window closed unless he really had to? Probably not. Secondly, would he sack Pardew after a win, if he really had to? Probably not, he has had 2 better reasons to sack him previously this season. Something has come to a head to make his sacking essential/inevitable. I presume we will never know what, but things do not quite add up at the moment.

If anyone is driving to this match? I would be quite interested in providing them with some petrol money for seat in their car?

What a relief, we've started well every game so far. Let's keep it up. First game I haven't made it to as well.

I really don't know, what game a lot of people watch and which game they are attending. I think we were poor, and i think Jaidi at centre back is a real concern as were Hammond and Puncheon. Think we need some added creativity from somewhere, and it's not in the squad. Same Old though, we just need to bring in 3/4 players to have options on the bench when things aren't going well. Pardew doesn't seem to know his Plan B, as there is not one available. Think we will see some transfer market activity this week and definitely before the end of September.

Went up today, signed the book (as did my Father) and we laid an old shirt with a message on it. Got quite emotional, which I didn't expect, but I feel I have done all I can. Will (obviously) be at the Orient game, and also had a tribute added on the OS. Just want the man and his family aware of my admiration for the late, great Markus.

So Sad. Will always be a hero in my eyes, will always be a true Saint for how he saved our club. Hopefully we can pull together and finish the job he started to fund. RIP Markus.

The constant OWTS for 15 minutes was quality, and I'd say it helped the team break the deadlock. Loved that tonight, agree it spurred the team on.
