  1. Have read all 334 pages of 'Taking Le Tiss' already this morning. Quality Stuff, legend.
  2. Schneiderlin in this division. Lost without him at Leeds, has the ability to hold on to the ball better than the rest of the squad.
  3. Boring Draw.
  4. Relieved !!! Good Result, glad to see the reaction.
  5. When do the goals appear on Saints Player?
  6. He is Class.
  7. Agreed, he was gash as a youth and only made it as a professional due to extreme nepotism, I probably think he feels a little embarrassed by the situation as well to be honest. I am sure he knows he is not good enough to play professional football. Would struggle to make the Eastleigh or Totton team, can we not cancel his contract?
  8. Exactly, he is NOT good enough, he doesn't actually do anything. CASH IN on him and get players who play positions effectively. Joseph Mills should be are best young player this year, and is a natural left back who plays as a left back. Playing Lallana is like playing 10 men.
  9. Love this idea !!!!
  10. Thank you so very, very much Markus. You have become part of one of the greatest football clubs in this country with fans who will support you every step of the way. I can now live a normal life without constantly worrying about if there will always be a Southampton Football Club, you have made my life instantly better.
  11. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/2794539/Credit-crisis-one-year-on-How-sub-prime-put-a-stop-to-Go-Business.html
  12. I'd love too see a great old player as manager, in that thought have Pinnacle backed Wotte or is he being replaced imminently?
  13. Life watching somebody fall from a building in slow motion and not being able to do a sinlge thing about it.
  14. 25 years of love will never be for nothing. COYR !!!
  15. Listen to somebody or something else apart from the superego inside your head.
  16. Why make people feel uncomfortable for going to watch Saints? Why do some fans have to be superior? I don't have a season ticket but still make 10-15 home games and about 10 away games each year, so contributing plenty to the club. I am starting to believe more than ever that we have an inherent problem with a large percentage of fans at this club, that is running down this club far more than a lot of other factors. I had a season ticket at The Dell and the start of Saint Mary's for 9 solid years, so what if moving away makes Tuesday night games unreachable? The atmosphere is pretty poor and uncomfortable at Saint Mary's now and the 'true' fans (as they call themselves) create this. We are all in this rubbish together.
  17. I thought Lloyd James had one of his better games and was one of our best players (bar Kelvin) on the day.
  18. Waterloo and city line is shut at weekends.
  19. I live a 2 minute drive, 15 minute walk from the Valley at the Royal Arsenal (Woolwich) such a good away game for me. Antigallican is the usual away pub for pre-match drinking, but there are Wetherspoons in the centre of Greenwich and Woolwich which are a couple train stops either side of Charlton. For getting there, get the South Eastern Mainline train from Waterloo East when you get in to Waterloo, about a 15 minute train journey from there, usually the Dartford or Gillingham train. Hope this is of some assistance. See you there.
  20. Made Up for the lad and his family, know them reasonably well from the Bournemouth area back in the day. Great accolade for the club.
  21. Definitely Neil Maddison, was probably our other player of any note circa 93/94/95.
  22. I actually think hes quite good, a lot of other players have performed worse. Give his time ffs.
  23. a). Wasn't a Red Card b). One Goal Was offside 2 Very poor decisions cost us the chance of getting a point at least ALTHOUGH ... We look desperately short at the back, it's just an opinion but I don't think Cork is the player some people are convinced he is. It is too much to ask Adam Lallana to be our soul creative option, he is still learining the game and needs to be helped. Gillett and Schneiderlin to me, don't look to create enough and after a good start Gillett specifically worried me today, although Morgan wasn't blameless. Most poingnantly though, we don't seem to go anywhere in the final third and this means we are never going to be a threat, Mc Goldrick was anonymous and although Dyer was a good positive outlet when did he ever create a final ball of any distinction? We need Drew playing in Midfield instead of Gillett and McGoldrick either needs to be replaced or more fairly supported. Pekhart looked promising but in a way a young 16 year old youth team player would, not someone who has been top scorer in Tottenhams reserves. The experiment with youth has been admirable and in places great to see, but players such as Perry, John and Skacel could really add something and they have not been the prime culprits of ineptitude in the past. I have to say I though our support was poor and disapointing, can anyone tell me how full the upper tier was? I was in the lower and only a small handful seemed intent on stirring any atmosphere (except for maybe 20 mins of 2nd half). I think this is mainly due to the two tier problem though and not all support being together. Jan has done a lot of good since he's been here but he got it massively wrong yesterday, even with Lancashire's sending off. Ollie will be a good player, but although I think he was unfortunate, every professional footballer knows the risk if you dive in 2 footed, its a part of the modern game. I wondered around Shepherd's bush for about 45 minutes on my own before going home after this game, wondering how things might be different, but all we can hope is things get put right and we get at least a point in the week. COYR
  24. Why on earth should i pay £75 (3 tickets) to watch that. It's f*cking embaressing, the picture of Lowe's face in a nice cosy directors box rubs the salt in the wound as well. I've tried to be positive but it's starting to look very concerning.
  25. £75 for 3 tickets to a football match, I'm going to give up this going to watch football live malarky and stick to spending my money on trips to Ibiza, thank god for International breaks ... missed no Saints game.
