the point is that he incited the crowd into violence. i'm sure the poor steward who was earning £15, and was knocked out, wishes adebayor had maybe engaged brain first! at the end of the day, he's paid £180k a week, and that should be enough of a cushion on his poor feelings also, there's a good chance those arse fans who responded, and were arrested or kicked out of the ground, will be looking at a 3 year ban etc. so no way should he escape punishment.

murdoch rules britain. NFT

northam made plenty of noise, but please explain to me the following; "small town in villa" no such place "dirty northern bastards" birmingham may be to the north of us but they aren't northern "premier league, you're having a laff" first sung with irony by united fans against rangers, at 3-0 up, and working through the leagues, right down to unibond. "going down with the pompey" gee, there was only ever to be one response from the brummies there. cringeworthy etc etc etc:rolleyes:

no go?!! for swindon fans yesterday maybe

yes, the club run at a profit but with interest payments (just interest, not even reducing the loans) of near on £70m a year, the clubs parent company, Red Football operate at a loss every year!! disgusting what the glazers have done...

chelsea and blackburn yes. man united no. http://www.transferleague.co.uk/ interesting reading. since 2004-net spend per season 1 Manchester City £35,141,667 2 Chelsea £24,691,667 3 Liverpool £20,951,667 4 Aston Villa £12,324,167 5 Tottenham £9,075,000 6 Sunderland £7,738,333 9 Newcastle £6,225,000 7 Manchester United £4,600,000 8 Everton £3,983,333 10 Middlesborough £2,950,000 12 West Ham £2,303,333 for a club that makes £60m profit a season, it shows how the debt heaped on the club by the glazers is crippling the club in the transfer market, and how well fergie has done!!!

Mark wotte has been totally dignified and deserves at least a chance... also the old 80's chant of "YOU WHAT YOU WHAT, YOU WHAT YOU WHAT YOU WHAT, could quite easily be adapted:D

Message from Tony Lynam Friday 26th June 10:11am
Red_No_7 replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
so where is the money tony? MLT even said on solent this morning that wages would be paid by the end of the day. well its 23 mins till the banks shut. tick tock tick using MLT as a pawn in your fantasist (sp?) dreams is appalling. bring on the swiss i await a response one way or t'other... -
yep, pretty much the jist of it personally would say the swiss look by far the best option now, which is a shame as matty backed the other lot. never know "pinnacle", ahem, could come through today, but the swiss earn more in interest alone a year, than it would cost to buy the club, (at £30m), and that is a fact!! lets just hope the football league's tough stance on conditions doesn't put them off to...!

come someone answer me this? Right is michael Fialka a director of NW8 holdings ltd or not? or is it NW8 Ltd, which apparently is a different company altogether?!?! how did the NW8 Holdings Ltd company come to light in the first place on here, as ive just very quickly googled it, and find no reference to M. Fialka:confused:

my guess is some fans are badgering the football league, and all this ITK info:rolleyes: the football league are receiving is actually delaying the discussions and decisions that need to be made...just a hunch... there are so many complex points of view at the moment, lets just all give these guys a bit more time! (as has been asked). matty is a clever guy and believe me they are working tirelessly behind the scenes getting everything together. hasn't there been another matter of de-listing the shares, which i'd imagine cant be done in a day. so lets just all sit tight until there is a definate yes or no to pinnacle completing the takeover...and i'd guess it's gonna be a yes, 100%. its mark frys job to work on alternative options, but who does everyone trust to look after saints more than anyone else? Matty surely:)
-
the deal WILL be completed by pinnacle either today or tomorrow! talks today with the FL have gone very well. YHIHF no WUM.

HAPPY DAYS! cheers

3 irish were in reception first thing this morning, one stayed at the ground ("the businessman") the other 2 ("the football guys") went to the training ground...at some point, and driven by dave jones. fingers crossed something happens...
-
speaking of WH Ireland, is it interesting or merely co-incidence that they have Begbies Traynor as one of their "tips for the new year" http://www.wh-ireland.co.uk/uploads/File/investmentBulletins/Investment%20Bulletin%20January%202009.pdf

kevin keegan would be a great choice IMO. would put bums on seats, has a good record in getting teams up (not so good when he's got them there, but...), has ties to the club and lives local doesn't he???

skysports news are doing the reviews of the morning papers and a few are saying shearer is lined up as new boss!

If the Football Club is sold will the PLC stay in administration?
Red_No_7 replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Right. so who owns the stadium(apart from the banks), the club or the PLC? this is getting bloody confusing
