  1. Yeah I'd guess that after reading their forum or playing him at the tip of the diamond as that seems to be his 2nd position.
  2. After reading the napoli forum I am slighlty concerned he sounds a lot like what we have now, a outside forward who needs a lot of chances to score !!! http://tifosidelnapoli.forumfree.it/?t=73020569&st=825 56 pages about him if your interested
  3. Yeah thats how I read it, it does also say that the italians would like to try and get a bidding war going amongst english clubs hence all these other clubs being rumoured being interested. This one has had enough smoke there must be some truth, lets just see if this loan and buy comes off.
  4. Gazzetta reporting 3hrs ago we are in pole position on Gabbiadani. "Southampton, which at this time is in pole position, take Gabbiadini tomorrow in loan sale (two or three million) with the right of redemption (also set at twelve or thirteen, but conditional upon attendance) so as to "share" in some way with Napoli the risk of a major investment on a sure bet attacker and reliability but, as mentioned, has played little in the last eighteen months." http://www.gazzetta.it/Calciomercato/16-01-2017/gabbiadini-panca-via-napoli-piu-southampton-wba-180442311712.shtml
  5. The hype does not equal the return he gives us as a player. Good player but not a premier league player, its too fast for him, he could be a great championship midfielder but he isnt a DM or a central midfield shuttler in the premier league
  6. Some stats: Over the last 9 league games we have had 111 shots, scored 5 goals (3 v Bournemouth) which means we are averaging 12.3 shots per game and have a shot to goal conversion rate of 4.5% Based on those 9 games then we needed to take 22 shots before we scored a goal !!! If we scored in every game we would at least have 9 goals and a conversion rate of 8.1%
  7. Super impressed by the official site http://www.ilpost.it/2017/01/15/sito-calcio-southampton/
  8. Linked to Napoli guy again but not apparently interested until the summer !! http://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/calciomercato/2017/01/15-20039380/west_ham_e_southampton_su_gabbiadini_ma_per_giugno/?cookieAccept
  9. Sheeeeeet I wished I was that informed as an employee when the board of the company was making decisions
  10. Ziyech 2 goals away from home today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Shout out to Jason McCarthy scored again on the weekend for Walsall, 3 goals now. no main reason other than he gets no love on here when Sam G does.
  12. If we bought a striker in now is it a case of the board "panic buying" or were they trying to "cheapskate it for a season" when we knew we didn't have enough goals in this team since game 1 and our best goal threat is injury prone. This is the risk they took, its now become an issue and the board either need to pay the consequencies and buy a good striker or run the risk of dalek like ending to the season.
  13. Shout out to whoever mentioned Suele going to Bayern, confirmed 25mil and 5yr deal
  14. True that, Charlie has some negatives as well, we need a combination of all our strikers best attributes rolled into 1 player, unfortunately I do not think we will ever get someone like that here.
  15. Charlie could score alright.
  16. Exactly all those shots and possession and we do feck all with it again and our chocolate wrist goalie costs us a point at least.
  17. Edit: Duplication of stats our goalkeeper, attackers are still **** though but I think I have become so ambivalent with the blantant need for creativity and a striker I no longer care if we lose as that feels the normal result every game we do not have a goal scoring midfielder or a clinical striker in charlies absence.
  18. Didn't remember seeing this anywhere but according to L'Equipe we are interested in Valere Germain at Monaco who played under Puel last year and scored 14 goals and 6 assists. http://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/mercato-southampton-interesse-par-valere-germain-1080427.html Stats: https://www.whoscored.com/Players/93917/History/Valre-Germain
  19. Bro you are now my 2nd fav poster after SuperSaint (we are Ziyech brothers), however I would point out Heisenberg is 3rd but he is the GOAT troll of this forum :-) A reasoned and well thought out post, good man.
  20. Didnt read article. But Redmond, Jayrod and Long all need too many chances to score and therefore will never be the "main" men of our attack, they chip in. We need a killer to support charlie or take over.
  21. All I can say is f*ck Fonte. He was only the senior partner in League 1, Champs and 1st year in Prem. Since then Lovren, Toby and Virgil have all been the guys wanted by other teams and it is no coincidence that 2 of them got poached to Pool or Spurs and Virgil is the best of the lot and is destined to another completley different plane and needs to go to Real or Barca. Jose looks like he is off to palace or west ham. Says a lot.
  22. I translate that as his missus can't adpat to a non french speaking country and has thrown a strop as it requires effort on her part and he is a cuck. Australian sportsmen are the same when they move state, their wifes can't adapt as they have moved from NSW to Queensland so have to move home for "family reasons" as they don't have their family support = fulltime family baby sitters and getting drunk with tracey on cheap wine. If you can't survive in any country in the world as a human you should be put in the line for sterlisation. To quote noel whelan aka snowy, I am like snow I can settle anywhere. My countries lived in so far: Hong Kong France Germany Phillipines Australia Singapore South Africa Netherlands God damn I miss natural selection
  23. hahahaha this. If koeman is **** until May he will get the sack given how much money they have spent on "normal" players
  24. He can make his company sponsor our training ground (see everton) our training kit (see Man U) our actual strip (normal) and our stadium (everyone) so I reckon he can pump in 200mil a year easy with good accountants. Ok 200mil might be to high but enough to pay our wage bill by sponsorships so we get round FFP
