  1. Aside from long who rated 7.2 (cos of goal) according to this Boufal (7.1) was out 2nd best player yesterday https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1080720/Live Boufal is not the issue
  2. Want to reply but I will be here until 2018 writing my thoughts. Boufal GOAT, Pierre young/new country inconsistent, Puel I expect an improvement now the busy period will be over after everton, less rotation better speed. Expect 2 players in transfer window, want a midfielder who scores but will never get one (Les you get a d- for that) Style of play, i dunno really I am not conviced if we played like with did under poch or koeman that with our midfielders as thye are we would be any better, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
  3. Undefeated this year what's not to love Seriously looking back on the match my thoughts are: As a team I thought we played well in the 1st half and both their goals had an element of luck (deflection off our guy again on the through ball for the first after again losing it cheaply and 9 times out of 10 Kanu's shot ends up in the stands) Anyway the only plus point for me in that game was Boufal, tracked back, won the ball and tried to make things happen but was often asked to try and do too much. Midfield was terrible, Pierre and Davis are great at running to the final third and then turn back and passing it back to the CB's, everything is too slow, when was the last quick through ball to a forward to run onto from this team. The fullbacks didnt get up far enough, compare how far forward Rose and Walker were for tottenham, they were augmented midfielders basically, our guys did nothing and Martina had a terrible game, he can't beat a man, he has 2 options the 1-2 with the forward to run onto it or just pass it back or inside for someone else. The main fault I can see is tempo, everything is too slow as soon as it gets into midfield and opposing teams can get back into shape givning our forwards no chance Can we not pass it quickly and keep possession ? I am happy for our % stats to drop (look at leciesters last year) and win more as we don't get any points for our stats !!! I feel like dalek as I have been saying this for 6 transfer windows now but we need the shuttling midfielder positions who can score goals maybe 5+ a season each or designate 1 as the AM to go forward when we have the ball and try to get 10 over a season. Premier League Stats: Pierre - 871 mins - 0 goals Davis - 1371 - 0 goals JWP - 571 Mins - 1 goal (90th min at west ham apparently) Jordy - 677 mins - 0 goal So in roughly 58 hours from our shuttling midfielder we have had 1 goal, that is the crime of our season, as a comparision WBA have had 7 goals from their midfield this season. Anyway transfer window we need a midfielder who can score, a forward (i.e Haller) and some better tempo not this slow crab rubbish.
  4. hahahahaha I was just coming to post this fool.
  5. I've given up predicting how we will do based on the team, i've got no idea
  6. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I have never heard of him but after using my own black box I will confirm if he is any good Edit: watched 1min of the below video and can confirm he is mustard, sign him up the new virgil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zThwuQLqDM0
  7. Dalek right now hahaha
  8. Or you can look at it as he hadn't played since May when he picked up his knee injury and then missed the first 2 months of our season getting back to fitness as he had his knee op in Jul. Therefore he is probably a couple of months behind where he was in Lille in terms of form and fitness and by going to the Afcon he will play more in warm weather (so less prone to injury than doing so in the cold here) and get more games under his belt and come back ready for some full 90 mins. We are a team that isnt reliant on 1 player, his absence provides other opportunities within the squad (Bertand > Targett > Mcqueen etc) and also given the recent form and results of Morrocco unless him and Hakim "me and supersaint's god" ziyech decide they want to make a statement they will probably be out of the comp after the group matches. I am for one defo watching morrocco's games in this.
  9. Swap the name Forster for Boruc or Gazzanigga how would the performances be judged ? I think the price tag and "england squad" goalie insulates him from the same sort of grief that the above 2 get as people want to believe that the people who know about this sort of stuff and have forked out the money know better, but to be honest I just see a big capable goalie.
  10. I think the clean sheets are more to do with the defence in front of him, according to this we are the 2nd best team behind Man U for restricting shots per game on our goal. https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/2/Seasons/4311/Stages/9155/TeamStatistics/England-Premier-League-2014-2015
  11. Don't think he is too lightweight as I have seen him get stuck into tackles and track back to tackle on the edge of our box quite a lot, in fact I would say he is probably one of our more effective forwards for tackling/tracking.
  12. 9 goals and 3 assists in 17 games so far this season in the Eredevisie Good scout report from earlier this year, looks like we will have 2 Thierry Henry's on the books soon http://www.sportskeeda.com/football/scout-report-sebastien-haller-next-thierry-henry
  13. It means everything, good spot, haller is on the way then :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgPc4HEZxC4
  14. I like this system, I think it gives us more options both ways.
  15. We should get used to some of the names on this list, best 50 players in France as of end of last season. http://www.footballtop.com/championships/ligue-1/players
  16. Too summarise, he was the same type of goalkeeper when he first started playing, i.e nervous etc, but he then grew in confidence and saved them in quite a few games and was getting positive feedback from the fans about how he had improved with games but in a recent game the ball got played backed to him and it hit a divot as he went to kick it and air shotted it and it went in. Needless to say his confidence has gone back but they are winter break now but if they persist with keeping him in goal I expect him to revert to his mid nov early december form and improve over the following months. Main issue for Rayo seems to be tactics of the coach judging by their forum.
  17. 150 games and the jury is still out !!!
  18. spurs could copy with ours though, maybe it was the midfield where this game was won or lost.
  19. In, but not sure this reflects tonights game they were just a lot better than us and clinical
  20. This is just a way to open up our wallet in jan
  21. 2 assists from redmond and oriol for their goals
  22. F.U.C.K
  23. Sissoko apart most of their team cost an ok amount and their wages are only a bit more like max 100k so levy must be doing some black magic to keep them out of others clutches. TOTTENHAM Hugo Lloris - £9.5m Kyle Walker - £4.4m Jan Vertonghen - £9.3m Danny Rose - £1m Eric Dier - £4m Dele Alli - £5m Mousa Dembele - £14.2m Wanyama - £11m Sissoko - £30m Christian Eriksen - £10.1m Harry Kane - Free
  24. **** kicking by Fraser but we already knew that and he is aggraphobic outside his 6 yard box. Midfield needs to get sorted as nothing is happening from there and Jrod has 0 support.
