Pretty sick of him in all honesty. Post-Palace he tried taking the **** and Nigel just stood there unsure of what to make of it. Really quite cringeworthy.

Suppose they must have the real deal and a replica, so yeah it's possible.

For this scenario in Scotland they have it on board a helicopter and it's flown to the ground. A few years ago I think Rangers were dicking over a team and they knew they'd win the title so they were airborne and arrived in time for the end of the game.

I feel your pain. I really do. Two spring to mind this season: "Sharp's been useless all game" - the woman sat next to me says, after he scores the second against Portsmouth. "What's the name of the coloured one up front?" - a question posed to me at the Reading game. Others from previous years: "Is that Olivier Bernard?" - a woman asks, referring to the white guy in possession, in the 2006/07 season. "NO KENWYNE, YOU DON'T DESERVE A DRINK, YOU LAZY BASTARD, PUT IT DOWN" - a man in a corporate box exclaims for God knows what reason "GO BACK TO SCHOOL, SCHOOL BOY! ****ING SMALL KID, YOU LOOK LIKE YOU SHOULD BE IN SCHOOL!" - the cry of a woman obsessed with Leyton Orient's Dean Cox. "He only plays well when the sun is out" - a man in front of me observes, referring to Ricardo Fuller. The woman at the Portsmouth game I was sat next to was a real, real pain in the arse. I don't like judging fellow fans but she was something else. The derby game, the biggest game of the season so far, and she's more worried about eating her sandwiches at half time.

Well you just talked yourself out of getting one off me. It doesn't matter one jot who goes to what games, its none of your business. I MAY have ONE spare. I won't know until the week of the game. I will post back here when I know more.

Well that was the penultimate game with terracing at London Road. End of the season it's all being redeveloped. Good job you made the most of it!

Interesting. I'm learning every day! Disappointed not to sweep the Rays, but never mind.
-
Just another game! Nothing will be decided tonight, so keep calm. Good luck lads!

Hamdi Salihi was good back then, striker.

Monday Night Football is the influence of America. Their sports programmes are all like that. I hate it, personally. Why the hell do they need to walk around, to and from a desk? What's wrong with staying ****ing still? I can't bear to watch it - though it's not as bad as watching anything but the 90 minutes of actual football on ITV. Adrian Chiles is an absolute disgrace, as is most things on ITV and especially their sports coverage to be quite honest. Neville may well be a good pundit but he's got an annoying voice.

It's undoubtedly a great feeling to win a play-off final, no question at all. As for the trophy, well, as Micky says... ...Why should a team that doesn't finish high enough get promoted anyway, let alone a trophy? In Holland they experimented with a European places play-off. The champions got the Champions League spot and the others wrestled in the play-offs for the other European places. They scrapped it fairly quickly.

Pompey fancy themselves as charitable souls. Jason Prior, who plays for AFC Wimbledon, suffered a nasty double leg break playing against Crawley at the weekend. He's a Portsmouth native (oh dear) and is recuperating at home. Portsmouth have offered to take care of him, rather than him travel to and from Kingston upon-Thames every day for treatment. AFC Wimbledon have taken them up on the offer and he's being cared for by the Portsmouth medical team. As a native of Kingston upon-Thames and someone who keeps up with AFC Wimbledon but a Saints fan, I'm not sure how to feel. I suppose I can take the line of 'how the **** can they afford it?'.

20 Seasons of the Premier League - Awards
Crazy Diamond replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
With any luck I might be at the awards ceremony. -
You might as well write 'I have no imagination' across your bare chest. Those posters and their millions of spoofs are just annoying now.

Dalek will be the one who can't get up the stairs. If he's old skool, that is.
-
After the feeling I had after both games against Derby, I never want to see or hear about Saints in the play-offs ever again. I've often thought it should be scrapped entirely, but they'd never do it as it's such a money spinner.
-
Oh my word, another. That's it, down those bloody Rays!
-
I remember reading that ahead of an FA Cup tie he worked the players into the ground to make sure they didn't get a mauling, he was then criticised for taking things too seriously as they were a non-league club and only part timers.

Managed Cheltenham too.

Criticised at the memorial service today.

I'm confused a bit here, do they count as a one club man if they've played for ten years at one club, even when they've played for other clubs? If so Channon is in there but he played for a load of other sides, so he can't really be called a one club man in the true scheme of things.

The booking line is always open a little bit before the scheduled opening time. Get calling about five minutes earlier.

So is it much like when a football team signs an older player, is it just for experience to firm the side up? Another win for the Red Sox. Woop.

I've got a friend who worked for iSolutions and is an Apple expert, I'll ask him and see what he says.
