Hmm. Born in Thetford and started his career at Norwich but didn't make an appearance, so I suppose he's still a one club man.

I've been told by the folks I'll be written out of the will if I don't attend. I'll be surprised if there's anything left anyway, the price of the bloody day. Yes. So it's not going to clash with the wedding on the 26th then, is it.
-
Didn't Ted play for Norwich?
-
You have my sympathies, and I agree with the point in bold. My sister is getting married on May 26th - I actually told her to book a date when there was no chance of football being played!

Yesss. Another win for the mighty Red Sox. I'm not a fan of Tampa Bay so it's even sweeter! I hear there's not much love out there for the Rays by the neutrals out there in the States either. Also, just caught up with Damon signing for the Indians. How do we all think that's going to pan out?

I'm watching the Football League Show and don't find it painful to watch at all. They did not deserve to win. I knew that then and I know that now.

I think this is just another reactionary thread that will either go to about ten pages should we draw or lose at Peterborough or have a few 'shows what you know' posts and disappear if we win. I can't see much to suggest we don't play well on the 'big occasions'. We played very well last night but Reading took their three chances. I think we all shouldn't let THAT detract from it. This has been a good season and it is not over yet by any means at all.

Wrong again. 2007.

To be honest, people say it's unfair and it's hard to get tickets but it's really not. If you call first thing (I phoned at 25 past 9, line opened at 9:30) you WILL get a ticket. If you leave it too late, you're going to have less of a chance. I was never worried that I might not get one, and I was never fooled into thinking that buying for Barnsley and Ipswich would be of any help either - as if a club with a stadium that doesn't get sold out every week wasn't going to have tickets go to general sale. Sorry to hear you or anyone else have missed out and all that but I can't agree that it's all that difficult and I do understand the uni thing, having just finished three years myself.
-
Yeah that sounds like it's just not been updated. Today is general sale to database customers, none of the linked sale stuff. Hence the demand!

Surrounded by melvins for the past two home games. Portsmouth I had a woman who knew nothing about football moaning about everything under the sun, and then only shuts up to eat sandwiches. Yesterday night I was sat to an older gentleman who asked 'who's the coloured one up front?'. Great. Can't be as bad as them though. That's the one thing I've taken out of the game last night, their fans are truly awful. Absolutely silent unless they were winning. When that equaliser was scored they might as well have not even been there.

I've just heard the system is back online.
-
To be honest, I think a thread about knee jerk reaction threads is a bit much. Agree with the main thoughts though.

Control the controllables?
-
Well I got mine so yeah, fairly happy. Bit thirsty though. Regretting my earlier decision to turn down that cup of tea.
-
Enjoy. I'd love to go to Fenway some day.
-
Uh oh. Don't tell Delldays but I think I just killed the system.
-
Just seen the queue. It's long.
-
Yes, they're all lunchtime kick offs.
-
There we go then!
-
Very much agree and have been saying it for months now. First notable occasion was against Cardiff, could have scored easily but nope, another touch, why not, oh the chance has gone.
-
Ha, right. The two views this thread had have really brought the booking line to it's knees. Have you tried the alternative number? Gets you through a lot quicker. Oops, now everyone will be doing it.
-
Yeah too right. They're just being passionate.
-
Get booking right now if you haven't done so already. As I type this there are THREE tickets remaining in the entire Northam, they're in block 43, five rows from the front. Sounds as if it's selling very quickly.
