It's been nothing but 'you're an embarrassment for this' and 'you're an embarrassment for that' recently. Sorry DellDays, but the last thing this board needs is another thread of that kind. This is football. It was always on the cards that it could go to the last game of the season, and it's a bit nerve wracking. So what. That's the game we all sign up to support. Get behind the team next Saturday and we'll see what happens. Does anything more than that need to be said?

BBC usually go for the trophy presentation, so by that logic it's us on Sky (should they want us) and Reading on the Beeb.
-
No, don't think so.
-
It's by no means certain, but I might be working with the Beeb that day so I shall try and find out as soon as possible what the plan is.

No **** poor atmosphere this time please.

News of Pompey's demise is being received all around the world:
-
I think as fans we've done this a lot more tastefully than the blue few. Remember the Skate bastard that had a West Brom shirt with 'Pompey' on the back? Where are you now?
-
Here we go! City ahead. Bye bye Pompey, Pompey bye bye!

If that's your idea of concrete fact then I wonder about you, though to be honest, I do anyway. To my mind, unless it's in writing from an official source, it's little more than hearsay. The interviews you mention, as I recall, consisted of something on the BBC in which he mentioned in passing that they had thought about it, and didn't rate the current stadium due to its location. But hey, you being you, I suspect you'll be bringing up the link with the quotes in it. Don't bother. I don't care. As for the dinners, you're going on what someone else has said. THAT is speculation.

Think we'd be exceptionally lucky to get him, but Fabio Borini.

Don't go to the Hop. If you're in there more than 20 seconds and haven't bought a drink a woman will shout at you and say 'THIS ISN'T FREEVIEW'. She's right, it's Sky. If you have an empty glass on you for more than a couple of seconds and haven't left your seat to buy another drink, you're as bad as Robert Mugabe and can expect to go on trial at the Hague for crimes against humanity.

Additional Coventry Tickets Available
Crazy Diamond replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
500 extra tickets. Sorry but if you're on this board and STILL don't manage to get what you want after ANOTHER batch have gone on sale then you're doing something spectacularly wrong. Call early, say about 7:50am/7:55am, call the alternative number, and don't give up. -
Not sure it does. O'Dea isn't the best, hence why he's being loaned out by Celtic, Pearce as I say is really overrated. REALLY overrated. He's English and helped to keep a few clean sheets at Bournemouth - suddenly he's amazing. It ain't so.

Not worried at all actually, since you ask. Like Peterborough the other night, I just stayed calm and I was rewarded. Hope you all settle down soon!

Well, its at the taxpayer's expense that the kids are provided an education even if they refuse or get kicked out of school. They HAVE to have an education, and it's ridiculous the levels that the system will water down 'education' to, in order to provide for kids that don't want it, and families that couldn't care less. For example, I know of a kid that was given lessons in fly fishing, because he hated subjects at school that you or I simply had to do, whether we liked it or not. Fly fishing, as opposed to maths, science etc etc. It's farcical. I'm inclined to say **** em, why provide for them if they don't want it? Think of the thousands of kids up and down the country that are inconvenienced because they can't go to the schools that they want to go to, and the stress it causes their parents.

Not really going to say anything along the lines of napalm etc, but I do have a reason to think twice about travellers. A few years ago a family of travellers decided to take residence in a field next door to my uncle's home. The field had just been sprayed with pesticide, so it wasn't a great idea in the first place as the chemicals can cause all kinds of problems if its breathed in. Then the family's kids broke into my uncle's garden and stole apples from his trees, which were cooking apples and when they ate them, they all got quite ill. Second stupid thing right there. Worse was to come as they managed to set fire to the whole field, endangering their own lives as well as the farmer, my uncle and his family, etc etc. I also happen to know from experience the amount of trouble the kids can cause in schools and the education system. I'm afraid they're not much good to a large amount of people.

The incredibly overrated Jason Pearce is off to Leeds http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7687929/ "Sky Sports understands Leeds United are closing in on a deal to make Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce their first signing of the summer. Pearce has impressed at Portsmouth since arriving from Bournemouth in the summer and he has established himself as a key member of the side, making 43 appearances in all competitions this term. Cash-strapped Pompey are resigned to losing a number of top players to ease their on-going financial problems and Pearce could be one of the first to depart Fratton Park once the season draws to a close. A number of clubs, including Ipswich have shown an interest in Pearce, but Leeds are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to Elland Road. Leeds boss Neil Warnock has made defensive recruits his main priority in this summer's transfer window as he looks to shore up their leaky rearguard. Warnock revealed earlier this month he was confident of agreeing a deal with a mystery player and it is thought Pearce is the man in question."

Well there goes another thread.

Hill says no less than £3 million. Thoughts on that?
