  1. The Cornwall Saints avatar in Brussels! Proper job.

  3. Excellent post Damen, and I suspect the majority of Saints Fans would agree with you, I certainly do. Don't forget, most real football fans never go near forums. I used to go to watch Bournemouth a lot before i moved to the Wild West and always look out for your results. Good luck for next season.
  4. I will be in deepest darkest St Agnes.
  5. I started watching Saints in Division 3 and hoper never to do that again, but for whatever reason we're back there. However things are now looking good and I am confident that we are on our way back and that is thanks in no small measure to Alan Pardew. Get behind the man, he's the best manager we've had in a long time. Abuse him and lose him.
  6. Up and back on the day is not on really. I am getting the train up on Saturday morning and staying at Paddington overnight and catching the 18.00 train home.
  7. Best not critisise him in his present mood.
  8. Did we play Sheffield United at the Dell a few days earlier and some coach windows were smashed. If so, I do remember it. The United fans were looking for one Saints fan in particular. Unfortunately, he was with me.
  9. The speedway backed on to the County ground and was then built on by Top Rank, You could still see part of the track at the back of the Top rank.
  10. Wonder what Rupert makes of it all. Happy fans, a manager who's allowed to manage, a great Chairman and an owner who's confident enough of his staff, not to interfere. Still, it wasn't Rupes fault of course.
  11. I thought Antonio was immense. Really worked his socks off, as did they all. COYR
  12. Brill, thanks for the link. COYR
  13. Mick Ronson.............why no mention of Mick Ronson!!!
  14. Glad you came out of retirement then!!!
  15. I can remember being at Dean Court on 23rd April 1960, our promotion season. Saints won 3-1. I know that I was at Loftus Road 4 weeks earlier but have no recollection of the game.
  16. I remember Harry well, he was a relly nice bloke,he used to bring his dog to training!
  17. Betty Stogs is a beer brewed by Skinners Brewery in Truro and Available in St Columb.
  18. Now lets get behind him and the team and give him our full backing. This is the beginning of a new era. Onwards and upwards with Alan Pardews red and white army. COYR
  19. I would hope that we keep him in some capacity and I think he will make an excellent manager one day, but maybe a bit to soon.
  20. Stoke had 10 players in the team yesterday over 6 ' in height. I guess long throws and free kicks are a big part of their tactics. I don't think that was ever the case with us.
