Alps, you're a top guy and often very perceptive. So if you were manager and if 3 of your best players had picked up minor knocks in pre-season, would you risk playing them in a meaningless friendly one week before the start of the season? Come on mate.... its a no-brainer. If AP had played them and exacerbated their injuries you would've been furious, as would I.
