Excellent post. I have recently had discussions with fellow football fans of various clubs......and thought did Liverpool and now possibly Tottenham buy the wrong CB from SFC. Now I know longevity remaining in the game plays a part.....but Fonte has been immense.....he won his plaudits at Palace...he's won our hearts at Saints. What a bargain he was. If we lose Morgan,Toby and Clyne would this constitute as more of a loss than Lallana, ,Lovren and Lambert.? Are we just standing still or could we do better than last season? The last time I was remotely interested in England was the incredible performance by Beckham against Greece. Watching England is woeful.....and I don't see that changing for the foreseeable future.
