Is the reading game sold out? - answer: yes!
View From The Top replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
TBH, any "fan" who doesn't break his/her balls to be there on Friday is a cu nt. Obviously people overseas, working, wife in labout etc are a different matter but no excuses for those outside of those categories IMHO. Biggest game for years and years and years. -
I'm planning on getting a Xoom, especially now they are being discounted. It will replace my netbook.

Totally different song mate. The Palace one is some plastic-ultra's European boll ocks.

Saints 2 Palace 0 - Post Match Reactions
View From The Top replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Just got back myself after watching a win that was so comprehensive that I'm now wondering why I was worried on Saturday evening! What I found really telling that those of us there had no nerves and we just got, loudly, behind the lads. Cork MOTM for me. Palace fan on the train back to Coulsdon South said that was the best they've played in a while! -
It certainly wasn't quiet where I was. For 90mins we screamed, shouted, abused, supported, sang and booed. I was so keyed up I thought I was going to puke and my hands were shaking like leaves in a hurricane. My nipper was even stood on his seat and this in The Chapel. Where I was it was better than the cup game BUT it was noticeable that we couldn't hear the Northam, but neither could we really hear the Itchen nor the skates. I really cannot remember being so keyed up for a game since being a nipper. My 10yo cried when we scored and broke his heart at the final whistle and has a hoarse voice of spending 90mins shouting his head off.

This is the defining week of the season IMHO. 3pts tomorrow is an absolute must otherwise.....
-
The Chapel was louder and much more hostile than the cup game IMHO but the Northam seemed quieter and you can't hear the Itchen from block 16. That said, it did appear that everyone was signing different songs at the same time and the acoustics do have an impact. For sure The Chapel don't understand the pace OWTS should be sung.

I've always been a defender of Guly but today he was a passenger and his failure to track back cost us the 1st goal. From my seat in block 16 I watched a skate bas tard meander into acres of space whilst he strolled back and pick his spot. Chaplow for Palace please.

Usual cu nts being cu nts I see. We'll win tomorrow and are still on course.

Including Frazier? If so, happy days!

There was a skate on twitter genuinely asking why the TO hadn't sent his tickets out. Had a fit when told he had to get them on the coach.
-
As normal they'll do fu ck all. They haven't for nearly 30 years and last time they tried they got slapped all over St Mary's St. They talk a good game and that's it.
-
Perhaps parents should trying raising they children properly, instill manners, respect, discipline and a work ethic instead of dumping them in school expecting the teachers to do it all.
-
Yep, it's a ploy they've used all season.

I've had a member of the PST tell me today that we Saints are jealous of them as they will soon own the club and we will be at the mercy of the money men. And they are supposed to be the bright ones!

To me it strikes of typical Adkins speak for "he's not fit". No doubt he'll say he was close but not quite there. It's the one thing that I dislike about him, the way we are never told the truth about injuries etc. Some truth wouldn't go amiss at times.
-
I don't think he'll be playing. Typical.

Our lot know the EPL is within touching distance and that is motivation enough for them. For us, however, I hope we smash the inbred cu nts into a million pieces.

And there was our resident "me, me, me" brigade telling us that the Labour nanny/big brother state would be rolled back under the tories. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-17576745

It's going to be fu cking immense. Everyone is so, so up for it, knowing that it could nail their coffin shut and send us one step closer to going up. Don't worry about The Chapel. Last time we played them it was loud, poisonous and evil.
-
As my nipper said, the support was "proper".

Hedge Funds are to football what Harold Shipman was to medicine.
-
Put simply, if it's the game that means promotion, we will sell out, end of.
-
Nothing has changed, don't you get that? No matter what they do on the pitch the problems off it haven't gone away and that is all that really matters. Birch gambled after the Brum win not to offload anymore players, aware that it's easier to sell a NPC club than a L1 club BUT without a buyer they are still totally fu cked. It's no accident that he's told the pompey fans groups not to put any money into the club but to use it for Plan B.

We were discussing keepers on the way home on Saturday. The keepers we'd like to see, from the 5 of us in the car, were either the Derby, Boro, Huddersfield, Leicester or WHU keepers. No consensus, just an acknowledgement that it's an area that will need addressing soon.
