  1. Now that's one of the best put downs I've read in quite a while.
  2. That's a very fair summary and very much my own position.
  3. He's going nowhere so best untwist your panties ladies.
  4. I'm torn as to whether we need another DM this window, the arguments both for and against are sound. Regardless, we all know that if we do get one it's not going to be Morgan but that won't stop the fu_ckwits blaming the club for not buying him.
  5. They way you write you seem to assume that he wants to come back and we merely only have to bid.
  6. He's clearly a very smart lad who, I hope, is only going to get better and better.
  7. Everton. £20m as per last summer. Anyone who thinks he'd come back here is even more mental that the usual fu_cktards. I'm also in the "I'd have him back" camp though despite his strop etc as he was top draw for us but is that position a priority? I'm not so sure.
  8. Everton have bid £40m for Depay & Morgan. I was told, and posted on here, that he was supposed to be going to Everton last summer for £20m but had been told by JM to stay to fight for a place. Well we now know the outcome of that fight.
  9. He won't return as that is just a tacit acceptance of his failure at Utd. He'll go to Everton for £20m.
  10. So a high fee guarantees success does it, a bit like Morgan at Utd or Bony at City?
  11. This is what I gleaned from my mates today. I don't think it's anything new. 1) Club has told everyone that VvD is going nowhere in Jan' but offers over £50m will be listened to in the summer. VvD has said he wants a move. Players agent involved. 2) City and Chelsea are both very interested but Dippers and Utd think better value elsewhere but that my change depending on UCL qualification. 3) Fonte; they'd heard nothing bar the gossip that he wanted a longer contract etc and was being hawked about my agent. General consensus was Everton maybe stupid enough. 4) Berihino; Stoke still really want him but he as he's free in the summer they expect WHU to wave the biggest wage packet. Stoke are willing to make him joint highest player. Nothing exciting I'm afraid.
  12. One of the best away days ever. It must have been like a scene out of Zulu when we poured onto that terrace. Brilliant fun when we were young and stupid.
  13. Stoke have gone all out for him, we enquired as to his availability, Spurs had a very cheap offer rejected as did WHU. He's an excellent player totally unsuited to a Pulis team who, after being denied a transfer by WBA, told the club he'd run down his contract and go on a free. Also, if you speak to those who know him or have dealt with him, he's a perfectly fine chap but one that won't be pushed around by his club.
  14. I'm out on Wednesday with friends who work at Stoke and both City & Utd. They usually are pretty clued as to whats happening, they are the ones who told me about the Shaw and Morgan deals a few weeks in advance so I'll ask what they know. I'm interested to know if they've heard anything about Berihino.
  15. We cannot make a rivalry where there isn't one and there is none with Boscombe. The vast majority of us simply don't feel anything about them, they are "meh". I had tickets for yesterday & sold them to go out with my Mrs instead on the bikes for a spot of winter training. If we'd have been playing the skate bas_tards I would have sold my wife for tickets.
  16. Whilst the 3rd goal was a cracker (1st one not too shabby either), the 2nd was a thing of beauty. Puel, as a tactician, is streets ahead of the snake.
  17. As if their clubs would sell them and anyway. I see no "kick on" with those, simply desperation.
  18. They'll go up in the play offs. Been saying it all season.
  19. The amount of slagging off Pelle got for being cra_p and now he's the 'kin messiah. Big Vic was a mardy git who simply didn't care and Mane was excellent when it wasn't cold. He had also made it blindingly clear, as had his agent who I an others had spoken to personally, that he was off as soon as a big club was in for him. He had wanted to go to Utd who he supported. But let's re-write history and forget that we are currently in a better position than we were this time last season, with those heroes playing.
  20. That's just what we've been saying. We were utter appalling there last season, even worse than Norwich and WBA away, which were dire, dire, dire. I quite fancy us to win the "We don't care about you" derby as them coming on to us may give us space to exploit.
  21. I'd sooner not buy now than waste money on a striker clubs are happy to let go, as that is never a good sign, and buy properly in the summer. Yes, I appreciate that it's a big gamble but so is buying a player that can't produce the goods. I still think we'll get Berihino. He fits the bill for the club and he's a damn good player.
  22. So we are currently in a better league position than last year with a cup semi-final to look forward to? Yeah, real sh_it manager and lets face it, in the terminally stupid like Robbie don't rate him we can be rest assured he's decent enough. That said, I too like to see the ball moved quicker (dour often springs to mind) but he needs to bring in a box to box midfielder and we all know a strikers required as the Long / Jay gamble hasn't paid off. Only then will we really be able to judge him. As for those who say they don't like him because of his language skills, well you're just morons.
  23. Only a moron,of which there are many on here, blames the manager for tonight.
  24. I believe, but I still not sure of the truth of the matter, that loans can be recalled during transfer windows.
