  1. My nipper is now sorted so at least 2 of the Staffordshire Saints will be there.
  2. I've been allocated 1 via Northern Saints but my nipper has dipped out, he has 1 less than me, as he had a comp' for Stoke away as his team were on the pitch do the flag waving thing pre-KO. If the club were taking home and aways into consideration then we'd have ample as be got our Europa tickets via them. If I can't get us a pair together then I'll not be going. Can't go without my lad.
  3. Are you seriously suggesting that Saints have chosen not to bring any of their targets in before the last few days of the window? Do you seriously believe that Saints said to Napoli, you know what, we'll have him but not until the 31st? Do you seriously believe that Saints haven't been working their butts off trying to get a CB in when we all know they've been trying to get Sahko? Fu_ck me sideways. This isn't FM17.
  4. Hope not, he's the Martina of strikers.
  5. I don't care, not even 1% of me gives a toss. That is all.
  6. No real shocks in the team selection after Wednesday and a game again on Tuesday.
  7. Where I live in the north Midlands there are an inordinate amount of plastic dippers, even more than Utd. Last night my lad and I had cricket nets with a few, who shockingly had actually been at the game. They all said how our fans never stopped from whistle to whistle and that they'd hadn't seen chaos in the away end like that for years when we scored. Physically I haven't quite recovered from Wednesday. Never been so drained, both physically and mentally, by a game in a very long time, if indeed, ever. All my life I've been waiting for that moment, a last minute winner, against one of the big boys, in a genuinely massive game. I'll never forget it as long as I live.
  8. Yep. That was proper support. No moaning day trippers complaining that people are standing up, just 3500 committed fans in full voice for 90mins. You heard not a negative word from anyone just total support for the XI on the pitch. I'm in bits this morning, utterly drained but to be there behind that goal when the net rippled was worth everything, although my legs disagree today, they're battered. To see the club I love nearly disappear, to see it rebuild and come back stronger and now to get to Wembley, wonderful.
  9. Got home about 30mins ago and I'm still shaking with the adrenaline. The carnage when we scored is something I'll never forget. I never thought I'd cry at a game but I just couldn't help myself. I said to me son after the last game that we'd win 1-0 in the 90th min and Jay Rod would score it and I never doubted, not once, that we'd do it. And to think, the wan_kers who decide not to go because we weren't playing well or you didn't like the manager. I hope you regret that decision for the rest of your days but rest assured, those of us that were there will never, ever forget the experience.
  10. If you knew anything, which clearly you don't, you'd know that even his own agent has said he's over priced and suggested a fee of around €15m as much more reasonable. Napoli simply want a great big slice of the EPL money pie so dry your eyes pick your toys up and lets wait to see what pans out shall we.
  11. Well this is clearly bol_loxs. There is no way the club, quite rightly would play him, as he'd requested to leave. You usually do chat absolute bol_loxs so it comes as no shock really.
  12. I'm in the position where I'm still travelling with a school age son so going for a couple of beers pre-game isn't an option. Therefore, sometimes, depending on whether we've driven or trained it, we'll have a look around. We did the docks etc in Liverpool the other year, well worth a visit, and had a good mooch around Newcastle as well, again, well worth it. Any trip to a London game will mean an early start as he'll have a list of places he wants to visit. I rather enjoy it.
  13. This could easily go either way. We are capable of getting the result and going through and just as capable of self destructing in spectacular fashion. However, with the whingers, moaners and morons not being ar_sed to make the trip it does mean those of us there will be totally behind whatever team the manager puts out.
  14. Jesus, you depressing tool. No wonder your wife left you. I didn't think Saints played very much differently from last Saturday, the biggest difference being we took our chances today. Clearly we need to reinforce in certain areas but the basis of a good side is clearly there.
  15. I wasn't at Watford but was at the other two and can say, without a doubt, that the performance at Norwich was one of the worst, if not the worst, that I've seen from Saints since we arrived back in the top flight. The Baggies game wasn't much better with the majority of Saints fans telling Pelle how sh_it he was for 90mins. The morons on here forget about that.
  16. That's a fair cop.
  17. A cup semi-final and people can't be bothered. It just goes to show how many of our fans are complete and utter tw_ats.
  18. He's not that bad, not that we'll pay what they want, but no doubt our army of morons would write him off after his 1st error and then blame Puel for paying too much.
  19. Really? Why haven't we sold VvD then? No one sells their prized asset in Jan and the idea that we waltz in, wave a wad of dosh and then buy a top draw striker just shows how our fanbase is utterly delusional and have a odd sense of entitlement.
  20. An idiot said that Matina was better than Redmond. Just think about it, someone actually took the time, thought about it, within the bounds of their obviously limited capacity, and concluded that Martina was better than Redmond. F_uck me, we have some of the dumbest fans in the world, most of whom it would appear, can be found on this thread. I seriously doubt if many of you could actually manage to walk and talk at the same time you're so thick.
  21. You have to accept that a large portion of our fanbase are utter morons. I've honestly flushed away higher IQs. I love the way people think that there is no way we should sell VvD (or anyone) in Jan' but expect WBA to roll over and sell us Rondon or Boro to roll over and sell us Negredo of Newcastle to risk promotion by selling us Gayle. I've even read how we should be getting Dzeko. It was written without a single thought passing through the persons brain as to why a team still in the UCL, one of the biggest clubs in Italy, would sell us, a middle sized English, their leading goal scorer. There is no top draw striker available in Jan'. No club is going to sell their best player in Jan' so we either crack on with what we have or we pay well over the odds for no better than we have unless the club pull off one hell of a coup or know of another diamond hiding away like Mane but I somehow doubt it.
  22. Yep, most definitely.
  23. I'll assume you're a moron and therefore incapable of reading the audited club accounts or are you another of those who believes, again due to being a moron, that the owner, without a shred of evidence, is taking money out of the club?
  24. How many transfers have been made so far in the EPL? Hardly any and why? Because those players being moved on are waiting as long as possible to get the best deal possible. Please don't quote the Morgan deal, he'd agreed to join them in the summer before being advised to give it to Jan under JM. The lad at Napoli for example, he's been told he has no future at the club and he knows a couple of EPL and at least one Bundesliga club want him so what does he do? He waits. waits to see if anyone better comes in for him, or a club he actually fancies moving to, he can afford to wait as he has 3 clubs begging him to sign so holds the aces. For those whinging that we didn't have someone lined up then I ask who? Who is going to sell us a genuinely good striker in Jan and again, why would they sell at the start of the window when prices always get stupid at the end? As far as I can tell the only decent, available CF worth really going after is Berihino. The Board has dropped a bol_lox. I understand their logic in not buying another CF in the summer but it was a mistake (hingsight is always 20/20) but I'm not sure throwing money at a panic signing in Jan is really the answer, we'd most likely end up with another Shane Long. Yes we need a striker, we all know that, but I would sooner battle on with what he have (JR playing please) instead of being left with another pony player and buy in the summer.
  25. VvD missed an absolute dolly at the end. I didn't think we were dull today, and nor did anyone else around me. We took them apart time and time again and with a natural finisher on the pitch we walk away with a win.Shane Long is the modern day Brett but without the skill. As a said, only a moron blames the manager today as he got it spot on and we played well.
