  1. Quite frankly, anyone who even for a nano second, thinks VvD will even contemplate a move to Everton is an even bigger tool than I originally thought.
  2. Last game is always Cat A.
  3. I always have a cap or bandanna on, all year round. It would feel weird riding without one of them on.
  4. The know that 1st really hot weekend when you get both arms and legs out for the 1st time and they end up really rather pink. Yeah, it's been that weekend.
  5. I'd agree with that totally. MP was a brilliant manager for us and had us playing some great football. He's stepped up a level at Spurs and they are again playing great stuff that's great to watch.
  6. He was excellent today. Such a clever player.
  7. Just home after sharing the train north with a load of baggies. As they said, they wish their team played the style of football ours does. I thought JS outstanding today and MY didn't put a foot wrong PEH had his best game for Saints. I love our style of play. We look so assured on the ball, well drilled and so confident. A big summer awaits. Keep what we have, build on it in a couple of positions and we are going places. It's also the 1st time I've seen us get a result at the Baggies ever!
  8. Baggies will try to bully us and we will try to move the ball quickly to negate that. A genuine clash of 2 styles.
  9. Flagging in the polls, media all over the Russia scandal, what better way to divert attention than the traditional American way of killing people in far off lands?
  10. As I've said before, it's the thick, dumb, mouth breathing fu_ckwits who want him out. Anyone with the capability to simultaneously walk and talk can see the limitations he's had to deal with in terms of injury and match congestion and, frankly, if you don't like the style of play we're playing, then you're an even bigger tool.
  11. Everytime I go to the baggies we lose. Everytime I don't go we get something. I'm going.
  12. If Gabbi was playing we'd have won at a canter. However, the 2nd 1/2 was tip top and it was a well deserved win and, IMHO, best performance at SMS this season.
  13. Fu_ck me sideways, what a precious bunch.
  14. I had excellent wet lube on my summer bike yesterday and even then that was all off after around 150km. Chain is bone dry and covered in Shropshire. Mammoth cleaning job about to commence.
  15. Puel Out Brigade = Not Right Bright.
  16. Because the club are changing their approach hence the longer contracts etc. That's the message they've put out there, let's wait and see what happens. That said, if I were VvD and Chelsea came a knocking, they'd I'd be asking for a move.
  17. Taking on the Freedom Caucus know I see. That'll end well.
  18. Got to love the Wiggle sale. Sportful bibtights and Flandre no wind jersey both 50% off. That's next Autumn/Winter/early Spring sorted. Already picked up a Mavic softshell at 75% off on Sigma.
  19. Accepting the fact that you've never been the brightest bulb you do understand, in simple terms, why we were rotating and why that has stopped are do you need pictures to understand?
  20. You're saving £15 to £20 at the like of Utd and the dippers but losing £5 at the likes of the baggies. Arsenal and Stoke kept their away fan prices the same.
  21. We are paying the same as they away fans so the club is correct. Virgin are paying the £10 back, not the club. The club charge £30, Virgin give them a tenner back. It's really not hard to grasp. Virgin, not Saints. Virgin. V.I.R.G.I.N. VIRGIN.
  22. You do know Virgin's decision to cap away tickets at £20 is nothing to do with Saints right? It's purely a marketing ploy. I don't happen to agree with it either, they should be subsidising OUR away support but let's not blame the club for it. As for new cost the same as renewal, big fu_cking deal. Renewals aren't paying any more so why drip. If it brings in more ST holders then that can only be a good thing, especially expanding the family centre. It's great value if you have a young un.
  23. Sportful Total Comfort. Around £90 from BikeInn, £120 on Wiggle. DHB ASV range are very good and Cycle Surgery have a good deal on Castelli at the moment. The Sportful are the most comfortable I've used and that's on long rides.
  24. My maternal grandparents were Geordies. My granddad and my great uncle road their pushbikes down in the very early 1930s when they heard the shipyards (Harland and Wolff I think) down south were looking for the skills they had, they had both been laid off as soon as they'd completed their apprenticeships on Tyneside. My granddad was needed in Soton and my great uncle, pompey. My granddad went into digs in Sholing for 2 years before saving enough money to bring his wife and kids down into their new house on Blackthorn Rd in Merry Oak. He always went to The Dell or FP if Newcastle were playing.
  25. One of the lads in my club, a 2nd Cat racer, has purchased a 2nd hand sonic bath. Bloody hell, you should see it shifting the crap. He also uses a special ceramic coating developed my a local ex-pro. He reckons he can tell the difference. As an aside, one of the local lads who rides with us is a triple British track champion from this year, by the name of Dan Bingham, and rides for the Brother NRG team, his brother is a 2nd Cat (1st at the end of this year I reckon) racer for our club. The NRG rider and one of his team mates did our chain gang this week, the A group. 6 finished, 20 started, the 2 NRG chaps, the 2 2nd Cat from our club and the 2 2nd Cat from another strong local club. Everyone else shelled. It was carnage.
