Rooney is a vanity signing. -
Burgundy looked lovely today, I certainly mine a trip there. As for the race, that's the tightest finish I've ever seen. 0.0003 of a second or 6mm if you prefer.

A partner for OR should be our priority. As long as we don't sell anyone else what's all we need IMHO. Injuries and lack of form was the killer last season. -
I tend to have days like today on simply as background noise and only pay attention in the last 10km.

I'm taking my 12yo & 10yo whilst me wife is in NYC with the 15yo. We will AirBnB it. Every time I've been I've found the buses and metro excellent but the Mrs just likes to do it all on foot. It'll be a bit **** not being able to take in a game this time though as I've previously been able to match a break in Rome with the Rome derby.

Everton are a bigger, richer and more successful club than Saints in every way, shape and form. There is no debate. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nowt. -
It was a sh_it decision to kick Sagan out for what was no more than a racing incident. The elbow coming out was no more than an effort to stay upright himself. AD had moved right to left (head on view) causing chaos to start with. The whole event is now diminished.

It's utterly pathetic. We're wanting to go to Austria ourselves but they're leaving it so late for no discernible reason.

No, you're just a fu_cking moron.

Pre-injury he was excellent and World Cup bound but let us not pretend that he wasn't going to fu_ck off with all the others at the end of that season without a backwards look. Post-injury he's been bang average at best which is a great pity for him as a player. The club stood by him through his rehab and have given him, IMHO, a more than fair crack of the whip but he's, quite simply, not been good enough. WBA have been pursuing him for ages but they also thought he was hanging on to see if he could get a move to Burnley, which clearly isn't on the happening now. Personally I hope he finds some form as I never like to see potential ruined by injury, unless it's a skate tw_at.

I thought he may hang on to see if Gray was sold by Burnley thus probably securing him a move home.

£40 for a training tee shirt? They can fu_ck right off with those prices.

I don't know TBH. I was told originally that he'd be used in a £50m + player deal for VvD and it then seemed to morph into ££ + player for Bertrand when it appeared VvD wasn't going anywhere. Perhaps the club have Said Bertrand isn't now going anywhere either, I genuinely haven't a clue. All I do know was that City fully expected to have Bertrand in as 1 of 4 full backs to be bought this window. I may find more out this weekend if I'm out with the chap from Manchester. I'm loathe to put to much on here as the usual dins are all over it. Personally I'd take £25m + player for Bertrand.

It's more than a rumour. It was put forward by City at least 2 weeks. I told Ericb about it when I was told it.

You what? He's an excellent player, better than his predecessor by some margin. -

I didn't realise it was only 30mins from Piccadilly and only 90mins in total from Stafford. Actually quicker than driving! -
2 minnows and then a bigger team in Austria followed by two Ligue 1 sides in France would be my bet. Hoping they announce them pronto as getting pressured into committing to a family holiday when the lad and I are holding out for a trip to Austria, somewhere he's never been.

Player wants to go, a UCL team wants him and Saints think he's replaceable. He's gone. A pity as he's a good player but understandable from the players perspective. -
Saints are happy to sell him, City are going to buy him and the player wants to go. £25m will do it but I agree, in today's market, it's too low.

If VVD goes we won't have kept him! (Sorry). You want to leave the crack pipe alone if you think Saints are holding on the VVD just to shift STs. The money them bring in is tiny compared the the TV money.
