Ron was great for us, in patches. At other times under his tenure we were awful. Really awful. The Everton issue is, it would appear, somewhat clouded by their fixtures. Living up on the edge of the NW I can tell you that the toffees I know aren't necessarily dismayed at the defeats but in the manner of the defeats. They say they can see no plan, no cohesion and certainly no pace. Every man jack of them have said the same about losing a striker and not replacing the goals. I appreciate that's not an easy task but it's the crux of the problem and it's not going to change anytime soon. The reds and blues at work have been rather mote these last few weeks. Long may it continue.

I'm going with the lad so nailed on 0-0.

1st time I've ever been accused of that. I love the delusion of the cultists. It's truly astounding to discover just how "special" some of our fans are. I'm sure in their rather weird dream world we've already won the UCL with a defence that had VVD, Toby & Jose, flanked by Shaw & Clyne, feeding Victor & Morgan with Pelle, Lallana & Mane banging them in for fun.

Or perhaps a fan with the whit greater than that of a fool who seems to think real like is akin to FM2017. I'd leave the thinking to those who seem capable of it if I were you as it appears to be a skill you've yet to master.

Yes. I'd just keep the crest and bin the ball and scarf. In an ideal world I'd like the city's full crest used.

World Champs fast approaching and I'm going for Sagan to make it 3 in a row. He looked awesome in Quebec.

It should come as no surprise to any of us who Cult of Cortese divs are. Mainly the clueless f_ckers who don't go to games and have a LaLa made up world of Saints in their head where the dwarf manages to single handedly keep every single Saints player as we march on the UCL glory whilst lifelong Saints fan Marcus cheers from the stands whilst showering the oiks below with £50 notes. The same divs, when should the folly of their ways, lack the whit, grace or IQ to comprehend their own idiocy.

That's my major gripe. MP seems to have no plan & no style of play. It's way worse than anything last season (bar the fast 3/4 home games). We've appointed a sh_it version of Puel.

Southampton vs. Watford build up

Lemina is tired after all the travelling for the internationals apparently. -
You need to lay off the crack pipe youth.

Sadly I believe you to be wrong & actually it's his genuine view.

If some Muslim cleric had spouted the sh_ite that JRM has the not so closet racists on here would have been up in arms. Some tory toff cu_nt says it and they'll defend him.

A huge, steaming pile of sh_ite.

The bloke from City who told me that VvD was definitely staying has also said that Saints have informed those clubs who inquired as to his availability that he's also not for sale in Jan'. He's been pretty bob on so far to be fair to him.
-
At the start of the window we all said CM & DCM are an absolute must as is keeping players. We've done that so it's churlish to then start dripping about other positions. We've goals in the team IF we give them the service. A Barkley type player in January please Les. 8/10

I did say weeks and weeks ago that the message from Saints was that he's going nowhere. The clubs that want him have also been told he's going nowhere in January either and to the dippers under no circumstances at all. Every other rumor, snippet etc has been utter bol_loxs from the get go. I've also mentioned previously WHY Saints won't sell to the dippers. Senior staff at the club took it very personally. City & Chelsea will be back next summer BUT if one of the big clubs, or the dippers, are struggling at the back come Jan then expect a HUGE offer.

Saints Transfers Thread - Deadline Day
View From The Top replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
At the start of the summer I think 99.9% of us we in agreement that a CB and DCM partner for OR were the key areas plus keeping the players we had. We've done that so to now be mithering how we've not secured some mythical AM is rather pathetic. Yes we all know we are short of goals but it appears some of our online fanbase live in a world where the sort of players the are alluding to grow on the magic footballer tree. Nab one in a last min deal and we've had an outstanding window, don't and it's still been excellent. -
I'm not surprised really as whilst it's used as an all encompassing insult it sits uneasily with me as Hillsborough could have been any of us that were going to matches at that time. And let's not forget that the city of Liverpool and the fans of LFC were the victims of smears and of a state cover up for the events of that day and that they fought tirelessly for justice for those who died and I for one, despite my visceral dislike of the dippers, admire them greatly for fighting on when all said it was time to quit.
-
All I've been told today is that there is no change in circumstances at all insomuch that he's not for sale at any price*. *If anyone but the dippers offer £75m-£80m before add ons then blimey, tough to turn down, however, I personally think we should turn it down.

I love the way the fu_ckwits make some comment about Les Reed, such as "you'll be out of a job" as if they have any say whatsoever. I'm still of the opinion he'll be made to stay and I've heard nothing to suggest otherwise. However, if we do sell him it really should be for an insanely eye watering amount but like others I'd feel as if we'd left it too late into the window to get value in the market for a number 10 type player which we are all aware that we desperately need.
-
I'd have him in a heartbeat. He's just the sorting of player we're missing but his wages are way too much and our stature below what he's looking for.
-
We've solved the biggest issues we had at CB and DM but there is no doubting that we need a CM that can attack the heart of a defence. Personally I'd like to see Boufal have a long run in the team otherwise we need to invest in one. As for strikers, we have them but the service to them is shocking.
-
We would have been utterly drowned out today regardless as the Huddersfield fans made one hell of a racket for 90mins solid plus with tickets only going to ST holders there were an awful lot of old there today. It was more Kingsland Centre than Northam.
