I drive M6 J13 - J10 everyday and go through tho "average 50" speed cameras at 60mph - 70mph (when possible) safe in the knowledge that the signs may be there but the cameras are most certainly not. It's been a cheap and effective way of slowing traffic as it's the fear of the cameras that does it.

If it works then British politics changes for good and centralist politics are here for good. If it doesn't then Labour will be back in power for a decade and civil war breaks out in both the tory and Liberal parties. All, of course, IMHO.

Overseas students pay full course costs either directly themselves or via their home uni. The problem was the amount of fake colleges, mainly in the NW and West Yorkshire that were set up just to dish out, for a price, student visas. Most of these were shut down after the security alert the year before last with the Pakistani students, many of whom were on "false" student visas.
