We didn't have a CVA. Not sure how it works TBH.
-
The parachute payments only cover the football debts. If the go up (which they won't) and gain the millions on offer the HMRC will have them in court in a heartbeat arguing the CVA is no longer valid in the current form. Remember, they are still paying out millions in salaries (deferred as footballing debt or not) and will do so until contracts expire or players are sold. They are hemorrhaging money hand over fist.

Damn right.

The nipper who played RB for Tranmere at SMS, who was on loan from City, was the best defender I saw last season.
-
Is he taking a 10% cut as well?

I. Will. Type. This. Slowly. For. You. It. Was. To. Encourage. Saving. For. Kids. Futures. Noble. Idea. Poorly. Executed.
-
It just educates and looks after the health of those wanting to or already in the private sector. How very wrong of people wanting to work to help others. Evil people they are.
-
I don't disagree. As I said, noble idea but poorly executed.
-
That I don't disagree with that hence my belief that it was a fine idea poorly executed. Folk like me add to it knowing that our kids will have some money behind them when they turn 18 but it's obvious that the poorest kids won't have that benefit to the same degree. Good idea, poorly executed.
-
Repeat ad nauseum Mr B. Private sector good. Public sector bad.
-
You really do talk rubbish. The original idea was to give kids from poor backgrounds a start and something to build on. Great idea, poorly executed. Bribary my @rse. I'd suggest you look up what it actually means.
-
We could when it was introduced. Same as we could could afford wars then! Want to save billions? get out of Afghanistan where we are a decade into an unwinable war at the cost of 100s of UK lives and billions of ££.
-
I agree 100%. Anyone at OT in 2001 for the Greece game will understand why he's a genuine England legend.
-
The thing I like about it is that is locked away until they are 18. My two youngest ones have them and as we and their grandparents pay in monthly we know that at 18 they will have some money behind them for uni etc. My nippers is in a kids savings account but the return isn't as good as his sisters.

Which Skate Owes Me £10 For Help For Heroes?
View From The Top replied to View From The Top's topic in The Lounge
Thanks for that. In that case the NSPCC it is. -
I had a £10 charity bet with a skate on here that pfc would get relegated, it's in the takeover thread. I'm thinking it's Blue Job but I can't remember and can't be @rsed to trawl through the thread. If you're reading this feel free to pay up.

It's no surprise that you're wrong. Despite my views of the strike and the cabin staff the union has only acted on the orders of its membership. It's quite obvious that the UNITE leaders can see and want and end (WW has stated how he has no axe to grind with them) but the membership don't.

Corps mantra, when the shortfall was pointed out to him all those years ago was "Sky money". They didn't want to see the truth so ***** 'em now.
-
I consider myself and upwardly mobile chav.
-
I require neither. I couldn't bring myself to wear fake gear but I fully understand everyones desire to save a few ££.
-
Indeed they are/were as I bought one.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that when player salaries are over 90% of income you're in the shi**er. If you can't work out how you've been living beyond your means for at least the last 5 years then there is no hope. Crouch on 90k, Defoe on 90k etc.......You do the maths.

Get over yourself. They just re-hash press releases and easy soundbites. They know, hence the blogs like the BBC one but do you really think any of the press really gives a sh*t about pompey?
-
You really do spout bollo*ks. Every man and his dog knows they are in £130mill of debt and know just how they got in it. Just because they haven't all jumped up and down and demanded the death of pfc and blame Registrars for not killing them doesn't mean they're oblivious.

Right up your street then Stanley. We all know how you love your fascism, especially of the Nazi variety.
