Assuming these 2 x deals happen and with the other 3, do you think NJ will create a team that will get us out of trouble bearing in mind we are 2 points from safety and have pretty much half the season left? Looks like the signings are very much the type of players that he has asked for so it will be interesting how we develop as a team now he has the parts needed.

Id like to say I'm unsurprised by the lack of a new forward coming in to the club but to be honest its so crystal clear that without someone to replace Adams then we have virtually no chance of staying up. The owner of a business who has invested a fortune to buy the club and then finance to the tune of 100m in transfers not to want to protect that investment by ignoring the glaringly obvious hole in the squad, i just cant believe we wont have a new forward by the end of the window. it would be utter madness. Im racking my brain for a possible reason why they would do this and cant come up with anything logical. For that reason I still think we will get someone in.

At the game today right at end with the Blackpool keeper up for the corner loads of fans were screaming at the keeper for claiming the ball and holding on to it rather than try and counter quickly. Most can’t spell game management let alone understand it.

Although Tella In the PL wasn’t impressive IMO and Bree who has been impressive in the championship hasn’t ever actually played in the PL so it’s hard to predict how he will do. Agree with the other two though.

Antonio is 33 in March so I don’t think he has the rest of season in him let alone a few years. westham fans think his legs have gone and as a player that relied on pace over scoring / finishing ability to add value then I think this is a poor signing. He is the reason West Ham are in trouble and you want him to fire us to safety? let’s hope our target list still has a few options on it before we get down to hoping he will save our season.

Maybe we havent got enough cash for a starting full back and a striker in January. Maybe they have a target left back that wont be available until the summer. Maybe it will be significantly cheaper for a LB in the summer. There are plenty of reasons why a cheap short term cover option is better and i guess the point is none of us know the thinking of the club behind the scenes.

He is a RB who is cover for the RB. Cover is always going to be a downgrade on the first choice unless you are looking to replace the first choice RB. If you were looking to replace KWP it would cost us a bucket load of cash that is clearly needed elsewhere. If he can cover at LB then the same principles apply. Maybe he will be played at RWB if we play a back 3 and then the additional height isn’t specifically required as you will then have 3Cbs. either way it’s a really cheap option to provide “cover”. hate on the manager all you like but it least keep it as sensible criticism.

This guy is clearly cheap cover for the right back position in the short term. Not sure we need to be committing to a large chunk of cash plus wages until KWP goes. Better to replace him with in the summer when prices are more realistic and the transaction can be spread into a new financial year. Not really rocket science to be honest. he is a downgrade on who? We have no cover at RB. 🙄

Another one to add to the "hasnt got a fucking clue" list. Diallo has improved the more consistent game time he has played. Goes to show some of the players that have largely been discarded as not good enough have improved with regular minutes. Alongside Alcaraz he was responsible for the defensive side of the game, breaking up play, winning the loose ball, interceptions, tackles in the middle and did it well. Towards the end he seemed to get tired and sprayed a few loose balls but overall i thought he played well. Lets hope he maintains that form over the rest of the season.

Nothing to do with the overall standard of players and everything on how that strategy is communicated to the players then? I dont what strategy he employs we have a pile of shyte up front this season and that wont change while you have a hole in your arse. Blame whoever and whatever you like but the facts are Adams, Armstrong, Moi, Mara, Aribo, Djneppo (plus others i haven't mentioned) are not up to standard and the best we can hope for is to scrape enough gritty wins to stay up but in reality we wont. Maybe Orsic and Alcaraz will help but equally maybe they wont. The only thig that can significantly improve our chances of staying up are signing better players. A better manager may help but who are we talking here and would they really be good enough to get Adams and armstrong scoring regularly?

100%. Fans complain about poor quality signings, lack of a striker, poor GK etc in one breath and then blame the manager in the next. Which is it? Che Adams needs to take much of the blame for his terrible finishing. buy the manager a fucking centre forward and a grown up keeper And then let’s see where we are.

Exactly this championship attack at best. Adams is fucking garbage. Yes again scuffs a great chance. Im convinced he closes his eyes when he makes contact with the ball or maybe he needs to. a striker is an absolute must if we are to have a chance

Now it seems you have shared the real reason ( the long trek from the new forest) and if that's the case then fair enough but blaming it on your perceived poor transfer policy in my opinion makes you a wet fanny. I have to be honest, i know very little about this player (jackson) other than the stats and a short video clip. seems everyone is judging already. All I would like to say is 95% of the fan base was judging Mad Nath on his previous club and 4 early games stating he was shit, out of his depth and clueless etc. Turns out that most have had to take a quiet moment of pause. Maybe we could try this again before we start frothing at the mouth and screaming at him. The obvious caveat to this comment is we all judged Carillo before his first game and we were spot on. funny old game football.
