interestingly i wondered what he meant when he said PS bods but when you replied, i thought ahhh he means PlayStation bods. I make no judgements just commenting on what i see.
-
i wonder if they did a similar piece when we sold JV? maybe "Leicester linked with Vestergaaard -immobile"
-
Probably right but when you sell circa 55m of players and start the season only spending c32 plus the team that finished last season was fucking shit anyway kind of makes it impossible to compete. happy with who we have signed but we are still in a worse place than last season.
-
All the reports suggest we are after one more signing at CB. Am I missing something but do we have another loan slot free? If so why would we not use it when the squad is so limited? We have sold over 50m of players and spent around 30, surely we can’t be that skint.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

Agree with this. Our starting 11 is clearly worse then we ended the last season with. Its a stretch hope that Armstrong is at the same level as Ings so i cant see any signing as better than the starting 11. -
Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

You forgot turns like a fucking oil tanker. -
How did he word it out of interest?

We never win our first game if the season even when we have squad that we are happy with. Do people really think we will do any better than normal with a squad where we have sold our best player and replaced our left back with player arguably no better than the one we let go for nothing. Oh I forgot we signed a young kid with talent that is unlikely to get ahead of one of the few truly premier league quality players in our squad. god knows why I renewed my ST I can’t wait for this season.
-
Why doesn’t he just tell them? Fuck spending 2.5m on a couple of new TVs and a cost of paint, we could buy a new striker with that.
-
Well looking at current form, saints were confident that Ings and Bertrand were going to sign new deals.
-
Assuming we don’t concede an early goal of course 🤪
-
Quick point, I sure we are aware of that and as such is likely not to be Included. Particularly as “sell on” suggests selling to someone other than Chelsea whereas “buy back” suggests selling to chelsea. The clue is in “sell on clause and buy back clause” refering to different scenearios. just my view but who knows we are all speculating unless we see the contract.
-
Why would they bother putting a bid in unless they know for sure via his agent that he would consider joining them. he is as good as gone once the freakish money is available to spend.
-
Signing at least 1 player that is better than the current starter would be a start. Although I can see us signing a few cheap squad fillers that we can only hope aren’t needed. The new left back isn’t Included in thoughts here as he has filled a whole In the squad.
-
and what injuries we sustain is the more likely to determine our season
-
possibly but id still say he is marginally better than Djneppo and Redmond
-
I'm guessing this criteria was pre Theo contract as well as I'm pretty sure he wouldn't fit in with it.
-
honestly dont think he could be much worse than Redmond and Djneppo.
-
No Southgate blew their one big chance.
-
Surely we could offer Obafemi for free based on a lower valuation for armstrong. They also save on the 40% fee to newcastle. As long as the deals are legally separate newcastle wouldnt be able do anything but whine.
-
Agree with this. Know where you are putting it before the walk from the centre circle and stick with it. Southgate said they had been practising all week so he must have known he was going to try that shit. Southgate's man management maybe world class but his in game management and ability to change his tactics to adapt to the oppositions changes is piss poor. I was sat in the Gods watching the second half unfold and it was obvious to me that we needed to match up the additional man in midfield. It seemed liked Southgate was desperately hoping we would by hope or prayer would hold on to the lead. making the required change after equaliser is unforgivable in my opinion. It was like watching saints FFS.
-
maybe he would have gone the the way and kane didnt need the rebound. Who knows or cares!
-
I want to know what @Matthew Le Godhas to say before I decide which of your opinions are correct 🙄
-
You a,so forgot to mention that he is generally full of shit.

That’s such wank comment. Yes plenty disagreed with the squad selection (including non saints fans) but can’t remember many (if any) saying they would boycott.
