I thought that too and was stunned that the players didn’t even shout for the foul.

Walker Peters on the right is a waste of a player. He had multiple chances first half to get a decent ball in with his left that was wasted. It feels like he is only playing to keep him happy when the obvious choice would be to play Perraud who is actually capable of a decent delivery. It looks so unbalanced. it’s not even worth commenting on Redmond. The changes Ralph made when they scored left us looking confused as to how they were meant to be playing. It’s baffling that a premier league manage can’t seem to see the obvious line up having perraud at LB, KWP at right with tino right mid / inside right. Why do managers have to try and make it seem they are tactical a tactical genius ignoring the obvious. as for Long coming on just made me think he has lost the plot.

i would imagine most city fans think the same but they are also completely wrong as well

any streams chaps?

This is my view to be fair. I think the starting 11 is at best no stronger but the squad strength is overall better. With the club finally removing nearly all the dead wood draining money from the coffers we are finally at a point where we can start to build a team. I think this season will be one of survival allowing next season to add strength to the starting 11 meaning we should improve. Its all about ensuring we stay up this season!

Marginal to be honest.

What Else did the Romans ever do for us eh?

I’m glad to see him have great performance even against low class opposition. It will build his confidence in himself and his manager and could easily lead to better performances at a higher level. how often do we see players become much better players once their confidence starts to improve of go down hill rapidly with a couple of early poor performances.
-
Agree, I think we will have 2 years but that’s pretty much what we would get out of any successful top drawer signing we make I would imagine. Certainly great to have a new superstar in the making to watch.
-
Totally agree with you, as good as we looked in some areas, arially we were really weak. United are strong side and have a number of players who are a threat from set peices including maguire and pogma but i really worry that other teams will have picked up on this and will / could easily adapt their starting 11 to exploit this weakness.

I thi I think its been reported by numerous people close to Saints as closer to £40million. the rest of your post is opinion based on what you think is going through a kids mind. its just a likely that he will think that he wants 3 years growing as a player as a guaranteed starter before looking for a big move to whoever looks the best path for his future career. That may or may not be Chelsea for £40m.

I’m not against vaccines but absolutely against the implementation of digital passports to access domestic events. I see it as an opportunity for the state to impact more control to different areas of my life over time. I do not agree with it and will make that clear with my actions even if I’m alone. certainly won’t be backing down on my principles for a football game. I went to wembley and refused to show my passport and they let me through as I expect to be here. feel free to give the state more control over you life if you are happy with it but personally I will push back if that ok with you.
-
can’t understand why Anyone would argue against this view. I am double jabbed, a season ticket holder and 100% will be declining to show any vaccine passport to anyone that can’t demonstrate their identification to prove they are my GP. Will have some fun and games holding up the queue at the turnstile desperately trying to access my phone.

Who did you play for out of interest?
-
id argue that we sign him and one of the other targets particularly if they can play in DM
-
interestingly i wondered what he meant when he said PS bods but when you replied, i thought ahhh he means PlayStation bods. I make no judgements just commenting on what i see.
-
i wonder if they did a similar piece when we sold JV? maybe "Leicester linked with Vestergaaard -immobile"
-
Probably right but when you sell circa 55m of players and start the season only spending c32 plus the team that finished last season was fucking shit anyway kind of makes it impossible to compete. happy with who we have signed but we are still in a worse place than last season.
-
All the reports suggest we are after one more signing at CB. Am I missing something but do we have another loan slot free? If so why would we not use it when the squad is so limited? We have sold over 50m of players and spent around 30, surely we can’t be that skint.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

Agree with this. Our starting 11 is clearly worse then we ended the last season with. Its a stretch hope that Armstrong is at the same level as Ings so i cant see any signing as better than the starting 11. -

You forgot turns like a fucking oil tanker. -
How did he word it out of interest?

We never win our first game if the season even when we have squad that we are happy with. Do people really think we will do any better than normal with a squad where we have sold our best player and replaced our left back with player arguably no better than the one we let go for nothing. Oh I forgot we signed a young kid with talent that is unlikely to get ahead of one of the few truly premier league quality players in our squad. god knows why I renewed my ST I can’t wait for this season.
-
Why doesn’t he just tell them? Fuck spending 2.5m on a couple of new TVs and a cost of paint, we could buy a new striker with that.
-
Well looking at current form, saints were confident that Ings and Bertrand were going to sign new deals.
