Ha indeed. Personally I'm hoping for 7 points as suggesting 9 is a little deluded right?
-
agree with this actually. I thin it will coem down to fitness of players and whether the players tire as the season progresses. A little bit of luck with injuries and we could have a decent season. I think the next 3 games will tell us lots more about our prospects.
-
exactly. buying a £19 million striker that we cant sell as he is fucking garbage and them paying him 50k a week for 4 years. we may as well give RH a contract worth £25million over the next 5 years

Ward Prowse should be the first choice CM in the midfield oairing for England without debate. Every game he is looking better and better. Can’t think if another English CM than him at the moment.heart beat I’d our side. imagine the euros next summer if Southgate had the balls play Kane and Ings in a pair with JWP pulling the string s from midfield. As a saints fan that would be the dream!
-
Signing Theo reminds of the successful Mcmenemy years where he used to sign an aging star that he felt could coax an Indian summer out of. Maybe he is the piece in the puzzle that will push into a realistic European challenge (and I don’t mean euros).
-
Without defending Hughes or the fans that slated him, don't forget RH left him out f his squad against Cardiff and it took commitment and hard work from WP (and great coaching) to get back in to the team and develop to where he is now.
-
Don’t agree at all. When he got out jumped by Jack Grealish for a free header 8 yards out almost scoring was worse in my opinion. How tall is JG by the way?
-
They all tell you how they are up though. Amazing how these betting companies continue to post profits.

I was quite happy to see that to be fair. They clearly recorded the montage and had two everton players on as pundits to laud over them after they smashed us and bigging them up a title contenders. Saints completely pissed on that bonfire ruining thier preparations, laughable really.
-
So with no away games this year how the hell are the club going to dish out the away tickets in the champions league next season? I will be well pissed if I don’t get a ticket for Real Madrid away! well played saints, it was great to see the Everton bubble well and truely burst the arrogant wankers.
-
Well reading their a Forum Grand Old Team they are supremely confident and we are mid table dross. Not one post even gives us a look In despite having half a team out. They seem to think they are Real Madrid FFS, more like Real w@nkers!
-
Why is that good to see? Surely you want both players to do well
-
👌🏻 worlds smallest violin playing just for Virgil . Wonder if he will take the cash sat in the medical room for 8 months and then go on strike until he can move to Barcelona?
-
ha ha brilliant summary of the game in my opinion
-
Any manger worth his salt wouldn’t want the England job. Which is why we get a mid table championship manager leading the country. Personally can’t think of 1 premier league club that would swap their manager for Southgate other than many be Man United.
-
She probably does but it would stipulate at fair market value and how they come to that number.

Totally agree with this, it would become utterly pointless. At 48 i think i would reflect on a great football following career of over 40 years and call it a day. Plenty of other things in my life to fill the gaps and certainly have no interest in that type of format. To be honest i rarely watch the Champions league but would always look out for big prem games that dont involve saints. Its the beginning of the end in my opinion. Also seeing that most of L1 / L2 charimen seem to be in favour and clearly cant see past the initial big pay out. Golden goose springs to mind.

I have a feeling he won’t sign a new one and next summer we will lose him for circa 25million if he has a decent season. As for Grealish I think we need to build a team round his talent although but only if he can be persuaded to play for the benefit of the team. He definitely holds on to the ball too much which inclines me to think he is is about himself and not the team. Who knows how he will develop but at 25 I would suggest what you see is what you get.
-
Wow tell him what you think his football knowledge. Agree with you though
-
Is he going to play many games even if he can cover both positions? I suppose one or the other of kwp or Bertrand are likely to pick injuries during the season even if only minor knocks. Answering my own question I guess and is Decent cover.

The Sky Doris in Southampton mentioned RLC but more unlikely as the sums currently don't work. Wonder if they are waiting for Chelski to drop their demands as the day comes to a close.
-
Great technique, underated and considered light weight by those outside the club?
-
RH just confirms Diallo is done

The blades came up with a really low wage bill in comparison to the prem average as banked the seasons tv money without spending much. 2nd season they have the next round of cash and clearly the reason why they can spend money. It’s not really rocket science.
